Introduction
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ point to point (P2P), point to multipoint, or mesh wireless links. Though almost all video cameras fit this definition, the term is most often applied to those used for surveillance in areas that may need monitoring such as banks, casinos, airports, military installations, and convenience stores.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
To Add CCTV cameras surrounding corridors.
To Ensure Safety in the Building.
Replace All the Cheap and Not working cameras.
To prevent crimes.
To protect students and faculty.
Anti-Cheating, Vandalism and damaging of school properties.
STRATEGIES
Size the building, set the spots for the cameras.
Get a copy of the plan of the building.
Consult the dean of the college of engineering.
Gather and have a meeting for the guards to teach them how to operate the security cameras.
Ask for help from the Organization leaders for the budget.
The Org must assign personnel in every level.
They must conduct regular inspection for the CCTVs.

The Essay on Benefits of Ip Camera over Cctv
An Internet protocol camera, or IP camera, is a type of digital video camera commonly employed for surveillance, and which unlike analog closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras can send and receive data via a computer network and the Internet. Although most cameras that do this are webcams, the term “IP camera” is usually applied only to those used for surveillance. There are two ...
CONCLUSIONS
There is always a need to be cautious when generalizing from a single empirical study. The above findings, however, raise some important questions about the potential use of public area surveillance technologies like CCTV. If it is true, for example, that the presence of video cameras in town tends to make police officers more circumspect in the execution of their duties in public, is it possible to turn CCTV into a full-fledged and effective system of police supervision?
Does the emergence of surveillance technologies like CCTV require us to rethink issues related to police accountability and the visibility of discretion? Certainly if existing CCTV systems are to be used to help “police the police”, serious issues about the organization and ownership of public area CCTV need to be addressed. In particular, much more needs to be done to ensure that CCTV operators are not subject to undue pressure from the police, nor required to defend the security and integrity of CCTV schemes from unauthorized interference from officers.
They should tighten its security for the safety of the employees, students and facilities and they should monitor the happenings inside and outside the classrooms. Lastly, students and faculties are responsible enough for their acts.
