Project Objective:
The objective of this project is to plan and provide an offsite 2-day training session in Philadelphia, PA. This training session is to help certify and recertify the new employees as well as current employees on the new implementation system. The participants will arrive on August 25th, train on August 26th and August 27th, and depart from the hotel on the 28th to go back home. There will be participants from each branch all over the country who will be attending this session and 24 hours of training must be complete before each participant can leave. Preparation:
In order to make this training experience great, it is asked that each participant read over the materials that will be emailed to you, be on time, and come prepared to every meeting. Due to the training being only 2-days, it is very important that each individual stay alert and pay close attention as things will be moving swiftly because a lot of materials will be discussed in a short period of time. The resources for this training has been carefully evaluated so that the needs are met for each session. Accommodations:
A hotel reservation will be made for each participant and paid for before you come. Each participant will be sharing a room with one other individual; males will room with males and females will room with females. There will be breakfast and lunch served at the training site, and breaks will be provided in between classes. Facilities:
Each location will have computers, projections, as well as the needed software so that everyone can have hands on experience while learning about the new implementation. There will be approximately 6-8 facilities to accommodate everyone at one time in getting the training completed. Everyone at the facilities will be learning the same thing so no one will learn anything different.
The Essay on Participants Participant Room Time
Participants- I decided to choose an opportunity sample to pick my participants for this study. The best way to avoid bias in sampling is to take a simple random sample from the target population. Opportunity samples are best Materials- I had two chairs, one for the 'participant' and one for the 'looker.' It was set in the common room in a quiet corner at an off peak time, so there weren't many ...
