There are three main categories in building an effective, well performing team. The first and most important (in my opinion) is communication. The key to communication is good listening skills, respect for others ideas, sharing your ideas, and constructive criticism. Teams need to listen attentively and respectfully to other team members in order to achieve the highest level of performance. Teams also need to have respect for other team member’s ideas, even if they think that the ideas have no meaning. But team members should always use constructive criticism to make the team better as a whole. Constructive criticism will help team members learn from other members of the team better ideas and new approaches to problems. More than one view is always better than just one. The second key to building a performing team is time management.
Team members must always attend meetings, unless they have an important reason not to, in which case they should notify their fellow team members of their absence. Team members should also meet any and all dead lines for their individual assignments so that the team as a whole is ready to present or pass in whatever is necessary. Also if team members don’t meet deadlines it could cause conflict within the team itself, in which case would lead to a team breakdown. Also team members need to put an emphasis on organization, which entails being prepared for all meetings. The third key to a performing team is governance. Team members need to allow everyone to have an equal say in all team discussions.

Team members should also put themselves in another team member’s shoes, and look at it from their view if a team member is being accused of something. My contributions are as follows.
