Queen Victoria Queen Victoria was the Queen of England from 1837 to 1901. At the time of the start of her reign she was only 18. She was born among the brick walls of Kensington Palace. Victoria disliked black funerals, so London was made up of purple and white. She was buried next to her husband Prince Albert in the Frog more Royal Mausoleum at Windsor Castle. Victoria had reigned for nearly 64 years which is the longest reign in British history.
