Introduction The major task in the adolescence stage that teenagers face is establishing their self-identity. From the transition of childhood to adolescence, teenagers face a lot of changes, such as physical, intellectual, and emotional changes. These changes can create tremendous upset and crisis to teenagers and conflicts between them and the people around. Besides, adolescence is also a stage for teenagers learning to make decisions. During this period of time, teenagers always want to have a chance to make their own decisions, but at the same time they are not mature enough, so they will have the risks of making wrong decisions.
Hence, establishing self-identity is likely to involve experimentation, exploration, and risk-taking. Consequently, teenagers will appear as rebellious in the eyes of the adults. This project aims to investigate the reasons of teenagers being rebellious, as well as their behavior and the bad consequences caused to their growth. Through the investigation of these rebellious teens, we can understand the inner feeling and the expectation of them more, which can help to prevent other teenagers fall into a wrong track.
