We need a place where we can temporarily get away from it all. Everyone needs a place like this, and for everyone that place will be different. For me, that place of rest and relaxation is the beach. Let me tell you why. First, the beach is a great place to think because there’s beauty of nature there. I have read and heard that the direct sun on your skin is actually habit-forming, and produces endorphins in your brain that give you a “high. Of course, this doesn’t account for those people who don’t like sunbathing. But for those who do, like me it is very relaxing and enjoyable also the sound the beach is a very enjoyable thing, and it causes your body relax and forget. For a brief moment, you are enraptured by the joy of the sun, and it causes all the stress of your life to melt away. You reached a goal, and your mind rewarded you for all your hard work. Not only is the beach is a great place to relax because it has sun, but it’s also a place of quite introspection.
I usually go there, even when there’s no daily light, just to walk around and look out the weaves in the night. I think. It’s a place where I can let all my thoughts come together and I can sort things out. The beach can also be a very social place, where everyone in the world gathers to make small talk, joke around and play. You feel connected with others, and it can make you realize that a lot of what you worry about really doesn’t matter. Friends and family are one of the most important things in your life.

But perhaps one the most important reason that I think the beach is a relaxing place, is because for me it represents Gods nature. The beach is usually dirty, because people don’t care about nature. Every time I go to the beach I go with my friends to clean it up. When that happens, I view the event as a representation of my own inner, spiritual state.
