One of my favorite restaurants to eat at is Azteca it’s a family operated restaurant by four bothers. Azteca is a well know authentic Mexican restaurant in Washington State that offers a variety of authentic Mexican foods. Azteca is far on price, casual dining for any occasion, and it specializes in Mexican food. The experience at Azteca is very welcoming for all ages, the food is delicious and service is outstanding. A visit a month ago still proves to me that Azteca lives up to expectations of its customers. Azteca is served in a family style atmosphere; it allows you to dress in casual attire to feel relaxed as if you were at home.
Only down side it does get loud at times and can seem a bit overwhelming but gives you that feeling like you’re at a family reunion. Your surroundings are very well decorative with ancient Azteca artifacts at every table with history and stories of the Azteca culture displayed on the walls. Each chair and table is hand crafted with Azteca symbols. One of the first things you notice when pulling up to the restaurant is how well maintained the outside landscaping is gives you that feel that you’re in Mexico on vacation.
I found this restaurant overall very well maintained outside and inside. Azteca features a wide selection of authentic Mexican foods. Fare is notated on every menu along with a specifically designed menu for children called “Little Amigo”. You can start off with an appetizer but no need to because your server will start you off with complimentary homemade chips and salsa. Azteca is also known for their specialties drinks can’t forget the mojito or margarita. While you enjoy your homemade chips and salsa you will have a few minutes to look over your menu.

Your menu contains a wide range of Mexican salads, appetizers, soups, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, combination dishes, and drinks. The meal I usually always order is combinations plate that contains all my Mexican favorites so I get a little taste of Mexico. Finally the service catches your attention. As soon as you walk in the front door your greeted with, “Hola and welcome to Azteca”. You’re taken to your table and server will start off with your drink order. The servers are very knowledgeable in the menu, very polite and patient.
The food arrives in a timely manner, as you eat your meal the server will come over two or three times to check to on you and make sure your glass is always full. While dining at Azteca you will see the service is fantastic and the server is very attentive and will be taking care of as if you were family. You will enjoy every experience as I have at Azteca and will continue to be a customer for years to come. Azteca is a restaurant that makes the best out of every visit. During my experience I enjoyed the family type atmosphere, taste of homemade authentic Mexican food, and friendly service.
