The MPC library is one of the most important sources of information in the education system and the librarian plays a key role in this learning environment. The librarian maintains the book collections of the library as well as other material including: publications, documents and virtual libraries such as audio/video materials. Internet access to virtual sources is also available in the library. All kinds of recorded media are organized by the librarian in an efficient way to assist patrons in locating and obtaining their choice of materials. I. Statement of the Problem
After we observe the MPC library, we notice that the library has Lack of books. II. Significance of the study The MPC library should buy some books. III. History The name MONTESSORI PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE is derived from Dr. Maria Montessori of Europe. She was the first Doctorate Woman in Italy. She revolutionized the education system of the world. This was considered to be an innovative concept in education. Also, her idea of learning used to promote active personal pursuit of many different experiences: physical, social, emotional and cognitive. She opened her first school in 1907 in Italy.
Since then, Montessori schools spread throughout Europe, Canada, United States of America, Australia and Asia, which include the Philippines. Through the guidance of God in Heaven MONTESSORI PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE has been able to avail and consistently became successful in helping others to achieve their ambition for career growth. IV.
