When writing a paragraph on your best friend or family member, the best rhetorical mode to use would be description. Description is one of the best ways to talk about someone. When you are telling a story about a person it is important to give your audience a great description. Descriptions help the reader imagine who the writer is talking about. Flashback to twelve years ago, a wiry, quiet country boy meets a outspoken city girl. When we first met, he didn’t like me and I pretty much felt the same way. He was a know it all quad player and I was an arrogant tenor drummer. Somehow, divine intervention happened and we began dating and elven years later my husband is still my best friend. We have been married for seven great years. My husband is very smart and caring, the kind of guy that will give you his last. For everything we don’t have in common, there are five more things we have in common. I love to laugh and he makes me laugh, daily. I think that it’s great to be married to your best friend; I mean what more can you ask for?
