A 2-page entry in Juliet’s teenage diary re: after meeting Romeo at the party (use 3 quotes) (remember, Juliet is just 14, so write in the voice of teenager) Dearest Diary, Tonight I met him. He was so beautiful! He even has a name that would roll of one’s tongue… Romeo. How wonderful of a sound that brings to my ears.
I wish, I hope, in fact, I know that he is my lord. The one and only lord that I want to have for my entire life. And, can you believe how amazing he is? Do you know what he did after the party tonight? He crept back onto the grounds of my father’s house and climbed up the side of the balcony to catch a glimpse of me. Oh, can you believe that! The Nurse said that he was quite attractive too! Oh those eyes… those lips.
I can’t believe how incredibly lucky I am to have met him. It was almost as if it was fate for the two of us to have met tonight. We saw each other from across the room. The is only one flaw in him.
Romeo just happens to be a Montague. Can you believe that “my only love [is] sprung from my only hate” (1. 5. 135).
Why me lord? Why me? Haven’t I been a good and honest child to my father? I have always been loyal to him in their “ancient grudge, [which has broken] to new mutiny” (Prologue, 3).
Whatever I am to do? I am so distressed by this that I think I am going to be awake all night pondering what I should do with my own fate.
What do you think I should do? I’m scared to ask the Nurse (although I am sure that she is on my side) and I wouldn’t dare mention to my mother. She would run to my father and then he would have my head. I wish that love wasn’t so blind. I don’t think that my parent’s would be able to understand that one can not pick who they fall in love with either. Besides, have they really looked at Paris? I am sorry but I would never consider marrying him.
The Essay on Superficial Love Romeo Juliet Person
In William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, the two main characters are madly infatuated with each other, but they are not truly in love. There are several differences between true love and infatuation. First, true love takes time to develop and cannot happen at "first-sight." People who are truly in love with each other have had time to learn everything about the other person and ...
I could care less if he is kinsman to the Prince. That doesn’t make him anymore appealing to me. However, when I say Romeo, what I feeling I have in my stomach. Did I tell you what he said to get my attention? He told me “my lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss” (1. 5. 97-8).
How romantic does that sound? Doesn’t it make your heart melt? I really have to thank my lucky stars tonight when I pray right before I go to bed. Wow! I just realized. That was my first kiss! I guess I am still kind of numb from it. I remember it clearly but I can’t believe that I didn’t remember to write about it earlier.
Maybe I wanted to keep that feeling all to myself incase someone should happen to find my diary. Oh, but I can tell you a little. First, he looked into my eyes and took my chin into his hand. Then he pulled my face close to his and placed his ever so tender lips on mine. It felt like it was really meant to be for the two of us to kiss. I can’t believe that I kissed him.
I am not that outgoing at all and you should know that. Well, I’m going to change before mother catches my writing. I’ll write a lot more later on! ~Juliet.
