Producer Tyler Perry was at one time homeless, however the house in which the McCarters were shown living was in reality his own. Tyler Perry had based the character of Madea, which is an endearing form of saying mother dear on his own mother, aunts and sisters. In this film, Tyler Perry has successfully characterized the lifestyles of the Black community with a big dosage of black comedy, where pot-smoking characters are portrayed with loaded guns in their possession and humorous obscene language being used in the film. It must however, also be mentioned here that for the attainment of inner strength and to prove the healing power of faith, the producer has nicely portrayed the way individuals return back to God.
