Being homosexual is not considered as something unacceptable and now the society is dealing even with the issue of legalization of same-sex marriage. It is very important question for homosexuals who strive to have equal rights with heterosexuals.

There is no certain number, because some people do not want to reveal their sexual identity for the number understandable reasons. When homosexuals mature and begin to develop adult relationships, they must integrate their feelings and attitudes into normal life. Therefore, their desire to marry in order to create a family must be considered normal. However, the issue is what the creation of such a family will bring to society and how the majority of the society would accept such families. You may argue that family is established not for the society, but for the people who create it. That is true, but we should not forget that family is the rock around which our civilization is built.
