Stern was the key for Schindler. Without Stern, Schindler would have not succeeded they way he did. Stern acted as mediator between Schilder and the Jewish people. As relationships between the Germans and the Jews were a sour one at the time, it was lucky that Schindler found a man such as Stern who he could trust. Stern was a bit reluctant wether he would trust Schilder at first as he was part of the Nazi party.
It wasn’t till Schilder proposed his idea to Stern that he decided to trust him, as he knew it would be the only way which he could save some of the Jewish people. Schindler was a very smart and wealthy man, a man that knew how to win over people. Schilder had both the money and the brains to become a successful business man. He approached Stern with the idea to start up a pot factory and get the Jewish people to work in then to save them for going to camps where they would then be killed. Stern was a bit reluctant to accept the offer but knew it would be the only way of survival.
While Schindler knew his plan would work he also knew that it wouldn’t succeed with out the help of Stern, as he knew his skills would be essential for the partnership. Once Schindler pot factory was set-up he started to win the respect of the Jewish workers but still not form Stern. Not after long Schindler’s pot factory closed down this meant that all the Jewish workers were sent to camps where there was a chance of them being killed. Schindler wasn’t going to let his Jewish workers, which he had become close to get away so easy. Schindler together with Ster prepared a list of workers he wanted to take with him to start up another factory.
The Essay on Oskar Schindler Jewish Workers Factory
Oskar Schindler Before the outbreak of war, Poland had been a relative haven for European Jews Jewish population numbered over 50, 000. But when Germany invaded, destruction began immediately and it was merciless. Jews were herded into crowded randomly beaten and humiliated, capriciously killed. Jewish property and businesses were summarily destroyed, or appropriated by the SS and sold to Nazi ...
This list didn’t come free, Schindler need to put up his own money to buy the Jewish workers their safety and their lives. Stern help Schindler make sure that he forgot no one no matter what the cost would be. Ster referred to this list as being life. This was a big turning point in the movie as it was the first time the Schindler and Stern shared a drink.
This meant a lot to Schindler as he now knew that he had Stern respect and thanked Stern as he new with out him he would not be as successful as he was. Together Schindler and Stern worked hard to try and protect the safety of the Jews as they both knew that if they wouldn’t look after them there would be a high chance that they would be killed. Once a stable friendship was established between Schindler and Stern you could see that it helped the performance of the business as they were both on the same terms. Once the time came for the Jews to be free it hit Schindler very hard, although he was happy that they were now free he knew he would miss there happy faces and jolly personalities around the factory. Schindler had worked hard day and night to set the Jewish people free, and when this time came it was hard for them to let go although they knew they had succeeded but it wouldn’t have achieved what he did with out the help of Stern. When Schindler first approached Stern with the offer Stern was rather relucent to accept the offer.
Schindler knew of Sterns skills and what he was capable of and knew that if he was to get the trust of the Jewish people as well as have a smart business man to work for him his plan would succeed. Stern was in charge of looking after Schindler finances as well as what was happening around the factory and while Schindler was a smart and confident business man he would not have succeeded with out the skills that Stern brought. Schindler was extremely thankful towards stern for what he had done as he knew he would not have saved so many lives if he did not have Stern by his side.
