Peoples motivations, goals, inspirations, loves, and health increase positively by an important machine inside themselves called self-esteem. This machine enables the person to keep going in life and answers the question Why am I here? Self-Esteem can be called the motivator. Its a drive to do well, succeed in life, and represent the natural selected group of society that will survive and reproduce. Self-Esteem is influenced primarily by social activity with others. If a group of friends wanted to do things and one of the boys kept bringing up ideas but was always put down by his cohorts, it would bring down his self-esteem from ever saying anything again. This would be a harmful effect to children and their progression towards high goals in life.
Their mind might be psychologically impaired to doing simple tasks like expressing ideas or giving ones opinion. The lack of self-esteem in early childhood could lead them towards a swamp of depression, lack of motivation, and loneliness. Instead of achieving a job or furthering their education, they might be stuck in jail for drugs or robbery. However, remember self-esteem is not completely based on appraisals by others. The person might have a family background of successful jobs and high positions. This might turn on the machine towards higher self-esteem, just from hereditary means. It might be a family trait to follow in the footsteps to do well and become successful.
Self-Esteem is inside every person, but some use it better than others. It is true that experiences with others will increase or decrease self-esteem; however, the importance of staying strong and believing in oneself will also contribute to a higher self-esteem. When parents raise children, they always are thinking about how great their child could become in life. Their child might become a doctor, a lawyer, just anything that will make lots of money or lead to happiness in life. This brings up the question on how can the parents raise their children to become goal-oriented and reach for the highest. The answer would be a high self-esteem brought on by praises and positive comments to the child.

When a child does something wrong, the parent would never give a direct no and put down their self-esteem. Instead, they would tell them good try and show them the proper way to do that certain task. Self-Esteem is an important contributor to the building blocks to travel on the road of life. Without this machine inside the person, the road would have dead-ends, bumps, and other obstacles. Luckily, parents care about the self-esteem issue and will put positive comments on their children so they will reach happiness and success in life. Self-Esteem isnt exclusively based on appraisals by others; thus, even without the reinforcements of positive comments, the person can still achieve high goals by awakening the machine by psyching themselves up to achieve the task or to reach the goal at hand..
