My first reaction on September 11 was in total disbelief. I couldn’t believe what I had heard and I couldn’t understand why some one would want to do that to our country. I also remember being very scared and angry at what had happened because I thought that our whole country was going to b under attack. I remember it like it was yesterday, I was in 4 th period in Mr. Beemer’s class. As soon as I had walked into his class room, one of my friends had told me the news.
Every one around me could not believe what happen. We all just sat there stunned looking at the news on the television. September 11 impacted my life and the life of my community in such a huge way. It made us as Americans come together in such a patriotic way. People spent more time with there families and ones they loved.
They started to cherish the meaning of life after those who lost there lives on September 11. In my opinion, we as a country are less vulnerable to attacks now, because since September 11 we are more alert than ever to prevent another terrorist attack. Since the attack on September 11, the only changes in my life are that I love my country even more than I did and that I value life more because you never know who or what is going to try and take it away. I hope the future generation of my grandson will be educated about September 11. The attacks on September 11 should be taught to our future in there history classes just like any other important piece of history that is taught to them.

In the city there are lots of apartments not really houses and in the country you have your own houses that are bigger and the more people can come over. Lastly in the city you can’t hunt, you can’t ...
I’m sure it will be printed in the history books in the future. As time passes I don’t believe that Americans’ perception of September 11 will change. It was a national tragedy and will never b forgotten, just like any other major event in our history. Since September 11 our American culture has been impacted greatly. We spend more time with family and cherish the times we have with them.
We also celebrate national holidays with more patriotism. Since the attacks, movies and some television shows have done films based on terrorism attacks. I believe that TV programs and movies should emphasize more patriotic themes. I hope my grandson that your generation commemorates September 11 as mine did. I hope that u will have documentaries and movies about it and more monuments to remember it.
I hope that September 11 will become a national holiday because it’s too important in our history not to make it one. I hope that your generation has a more safe future than mine. I hope that you won’t have to worry about terrorism or any other types of attacks on our country.
