-Other men who may have gained power recently, from discrimination in the past of race or education may assert dominance and discriminate and put down women.

Young women in the workplace (18-24 yrs) are at the most risk
In 1993, 10% of 18 to 24 year old women reported to be sexually harassed in the workplace recently.
More recently, it is said that 23% of Canadian women, or 2.4 million, have been sexually harassed.
