Friendship is all about recognizing who everyone’s real friends are, and how they contribute to their life. If people have a real friendship they must be able to trust their friends, and make them a part of their everyday life. Some friends remain with us through thick and thin, and others only stay for a couple of months. Friendships are based on the love, and thoughtfulness being shared through two or more people. Those moments, and memories will never be forgotten. In this play, William Shakespeare shows false friendship.
It isn’t a true friendship because the one person only wants to use the others money, and will do or say anything to make him stay, and buy him more drinks. Therefore, Shakespeare shows false friendship in this play. Money abuse is shown in this play, as well. Sir. Toby uses Sir. Andrew for money to buy him drinks.
He does not care at all about Sir. Andrew’s feelings, because he is making him stay longer. Sir. Andrew: “No, faith, I’ll not stay a jot longer” (Shakespeare 3. 1 1).
What Sir.
Andrew means in that statement is that, he does not want to stay a bit longer because he thinks he will never win Olivia’s love. But, Sir. Toby persuades him to stay. The only reason Sir. Toby wants Sir. Andrew to stay, is because he wants him to buy him drinks all the time.
So therefore shakespeare is very good book nad everyhtign! it talks about love and true freind ship. It is a very cool book to read! You guys should read it some time!
