The next question involves having some of the symptoms listed, and that question was up there also, meaning that people are experiencing the disease, but are they doing anything about it? (B) Only a few listed that they have those symptoms and even more. If that is the case they need to be evaluated immediately. (C) For the last question there was no number listed, because none of my had this disease. (D) Question 3 Do you know what happens to your body when you have sleep apnea? A.

(A) Of course, you have the people who have heard about, about the same as the people who didn’t know anything about it. (B) There is also a lot of people listed as knowing someone who has it, and have told them about the symptoms.

no idea As you can see in this question, there are a few people who don’t know too much about sleep apnea. A few people said that maybe it can cause death. (A) The answer that had the most responses was this answer, because the people I had complete the survey were somewhat informed of the condition. (B) This answer was somewhat high also, because people had no idea you could die from it. It also made people a little more concerned about it. (C) For this answer, some people didn’t have any idea that you could die from the condition, which means they were not concerned with it.
(D) Question 5 Who is sleep apnea most common in? A. men. women. children. animals As you can see for this question, that people were pretty much in the loop for knowing this information. The majority of the people chose A, because they knew that it was more common in men than women, because of their genetic makeup.

A few people chose answer B, because they weren’t very informed about the danger in different genders. For answer C, that was pretty much self explanatory, because if a child has sleep apnea, it will be diagnosed very early and treated. (C) For the last answer, I just threw in a crazy answer to see if people were actually paying attention to this survey, and sure enough answer D was not chosen. 10 million. 12 million For this question, I gathered that people just guessed, because if you were an average American, why would you want to know how many people have sleep apnea, just a thought. For answer A, only about 2 people chose that answer. Answer B, only 2.
Answer C, about 4 chose that one because they thought they knew. Answer D, people chose this one, because they actually knew the answer, because the majority of us that are in the military deal with these patients on a daily basis. never. always. don’t know As you can see the graphing, this question usually holds true for truly knowing your spouse, or significant other. For answer A, some people said that their other, snores on an occasional basis. Answer B, I find hard to believe, because almost everyone snores for one reason or another, I believe for this question, people were just embarrassed. Answer C, same for this question, embarrassment was present.
Answer D, I could agree with this one, if you are a sound sleeper. Regardless, this question was kinda uninformative. Question 8 What causes sleep apnea? A. obesity B.

don’t worry about it For this question as you can see everyone that I surveyed chose answer A, because who is honestly going to do the other answers. Possibly a scientist for answer B, but not for the other answers. This survey was fun, and very interesting to do because you learn how much people actually know about a deadly disease, and that they are even more informed than before.
