The problem that the world is facing right now is global warming which threatens our mother earth. It’s happening right now, the cimates have been changing since this problem is recognized by people all around the world. Because of the energy that is wasted due to global warming, it is now resulting to energy shortage. This problem’s causes are petrifying that we could not possibly imagine. So because of these circumstances we have to deal with the energy problem. And the solution that they have is to go with energy saving. To prevent global warming which our earth is experiencing right now. If we fail to accomplish our missions to save this earth, this earth, our earth, will possibly come to an end, soon.

There are other reason why it is important to save energy. Let say for instance, a simple act of making sure to unplug your TV rather than putting it on standby mode can cut your electric bill in a very reasonable amount. If you then practice all energy saving tips that we can do in our home could save us a lot of money. Hence, if you want to start saving money, think of saving energy.

There are so many things we could do to save our earth such as :
1. Unplugging seldom-used appliances, unplugging chargers when we’re not charging, using power strips to swtich off the televisions and turning the lights off when we don’t need them.
2. Stop using plastic bags and switch that to reusable bags. Reusable bag is a bag that made from material that cant be easily broken such as cloth and rattan.
3. Reducing the use of hot water. Moreover according to observation, using hot water to take a bath in the morning is not good for health, because it will open our pores so the dirt will be pasted easily into our skin.
4. Reducing the use of air conditioner. Because the use of air conditioner will produce CFC gas which is not good for earth and the living creatures who live on it. Because CFC gas will destroy the atmosphere so the ultraviolet light will come down to earth and causing skin cancer.
5. Reducing the use of vehicles to save oil energy by walking or biking to work and to school. Because the result of oil combustion will produce carbon dioxide that is not good for our health.
6. Reducing the amount of stuffs we throw away by using ebay or things like that. Or maybe we can donate our stuffs to the poor. Moreover selling our stuffs on ebay, it’s not only saving our earth but it’s also saving our money pocket.
And what the school could do are :
1. Teaching the student about the importance of saving energy.
2. Giving the students direct tutorials how to save energy.
3. Planning on “PLANT A THOUSAND TREES” program at school.
4. Doing 3R (RECYCLE, REUSE, REDUCE) program, recycling papers, newspapers, beverage, batteries, containers, electric equipment, etc. 3R program will help us to conserve energy, reducing pollution and greenhouse gases.
The government also has the obligation to help the people to save energy. By doing things that have bigger impacts to the environment. Such as planning a friendly city or town concept. The concept that consists green materials, efficient facades, and passive design techniques so that the town / city can lower the energy consumption. By utilizing alternative energy instead of exploitating natural resources. But since this concept hasn’t been able to run in this country yet, all we can do to help prevent global warming are by minimizing the usage of energy, getting involved locally, holding garage sales so that we sell our no-longer-used items instead of throwing them out, avoid creating trash wherever possible, etc.

Throughout geological history, the world has experienced cold and warm
periods known as ice ages and interglacial periods. These natural changes have largely been due to variations in Earth’s orbit around the Sun, which affects the amount of sunlight reaching Earth’s surface.However, scientists have found that our planet is now warming at a rapid rate, over a short period of time, playing havoc with our climate system and natural environment.
Without the world’s participation, the act of preventing global warming can’t be easily done, so we need whole participation from people all around the world. They need to be aware of this problem, because this problem is getting more and more complicated. By the participation of both the government and the civilians, the world’s awareness can be raised.
So, people, why wait until tomorrow? Why not now?
