Stay at home Parents
In this five paragraph essay I will be talking about stay at home moms and dads. Not only will I be talking about that, but I will be breaking it into different paragraphs by separating the stay at home moms and dads. You would think that they are the same things, but they are different at the same time. So pay attention so you can understand where the differences and even the similarities are. Note whether you can figure out if you think there are more pros then cons about being a stay at home parent.
In my first paragraph, I will be talking about the stay at home dad. Being a stay at home has its advantages as well as disadvantages. I’ll start by talking about the advantages. It’s more important and more advantageous for men to establish fulfilling relationships with their children. Many men are now becoming more involved in their children’s lives, and because of that many men now have a better understanding of what life is like for their child growing up in the current times. Life is a lot more difficult for the kids and teens today than it ever has been before, and a lot of parents seem to have a hard time believing that. Now I’ll describe the disadvantages. The role of stay-at-home dad is difficult for men who feel as though they had no option. It is hard for these men to adapt from being a financial provider in the family to being a homemaker. The men who willingly choose to become a stay-at-home dad are much more satisfied with their role in the family.
The Essay on STaying Home
... it for now. They believe that being a stay-at-home Dad is something that every man should try, that it helps them appreciate ... kids. Mark Flaherty was a stay-at-home Dad for eight months a few years ago. "I remember the time being very good," he ... I suppose looking after kids is one thing, but talking about diapers and nap times with other guys is something else again."
In my second paragraph, I will be focusing on the stay at home moms. Now in my opinion, I think that the stay at home mom, is the most common type of parent that chooses to stay home. The duties of a stay at home mom, in my opinion are more than the stay at home dad because there are more things that I think that she will do for her kids. There are at a lot of things I can think of off the top of my head that I know that a mom is literally required to do. Here they are the administrator, the cook/chef, tutor/teacher, personal driver, day care provider, a referee for the fights, the doctor, cleaner, and the boss of the family. But that can lead to a common change, and that is the feeling of being lonely. It is a struggle to be home all day by yourself with responsibilities, and the children to take care of; it eventually takes a toll on your life, physically and mentally.
In the third paragraph, I’m going to talk about how it can make your life easier as long as you have a partnership with your significant other. It cannot just be that there is only one parent that looks after and takes care of the children/house. It will not end up good at all due to the fact that whoever is the one always working will eventually have the mentality that he/she is doing all the work and providing and deserves to be treated like a queen/king. It is just not always a good situation to have a full time stay at home parent. It will sometimes cause friction between the couple, because someone will eventually feel unappreciated. I know about this because my mother was a stay at home mom for a while taking care of me and my three older brother while my step-dad went to work to be able to support us as a family. It wasn’t easy but it all worked out because as we got older we did our part in order to remain comfortable.
I hope that you got some good information out of my paper. The only reason why I decided to write about this topic because I have experience with my mother being a stay at home mother. She went through a lot with me and my three brothers and still manages to get by thanks to my step-dad working his ass off five, even six days at a time to make sure that we didn’t have anything to worry about financially. When I think about a stay at home dad, I do see a good thing, definitely different. I would’ve like to see how I would’ve turned out if I had my father at home instead of my mother, I really don’t know but I can tell you that with all the cons about staying home, there are more pros.

Creative Writing My boredom lingered on despair as I sit at home alone wondering what my friends are doing at school. I wouldn't be in this situation if I would have stayed out of trouble. My antics got me suspended from school, and enough trouble with the law that they had me on house arrest. I could not talk to my friends and I couldn't go anywhere either. My thoughts start to stray towards ...
