Declination Of Indian And Assamese Culture
Sun Never Rises In the East
One morning, when I woke up I heard a girl crying because she was beaten up by her mother, in my neighbor. On hearing the noise I went near them and when I asked her the reason behind beating her daughter, she replied that her daughter had went to watch an Assamese film with a boy who is of the same standard with her in her college. I was surprised and so I asked her, “So what! An Assamese watching an Assamese film is not wrong”. She then asked me, “Now-a-days how many6 people go to watch an Assamese film in a hall?”. “Hardly four or five”, I replied. “Right, Now tell me in an empty hall what was my daughter doing, whether she was watching the film or was doing romance with that boy?”. She asked me.
This is what actually the picture of our Assamese film industry is. Earlier people used to do romance behind the screams but now-a-days people do romance in front of the screens especially if Assamese films are screened. This is because both Hollywood and Bollywood has been dominating over the last few decades. Hollywood uses better technologies and is far from our reach. Bollywood on the other hand more than technologies deals with unreal insistences and intimacy. In case of intimacy there are some films like Jism-2, Murder, Rape, etc which motivates the younger generatio0ns to fall in blind love and to get involve in intimate affairs. Moreover in films like Bodyguard and all we can see Salman Khan flying out of a moving train and entering into an another train coming from the opposite direction which we can never experience in reality. These kinds of films make lots of entertainment for the common people and as Assamese films are unable to deal with such things, no people even bothers about watching an Assamese film. Our films have lack of technologies for which it cannot deal with certain kinds of unreality like a hero punching a villain and four/five villains automatically flies out of the window and in case of intimacy our society does not permit to include such kinds of scenes in our films, but we all know what is going on in practi8cal.
The Essay on Home Life People Watching
I ambitiously decided that I would brighten the lives of the elderly by volunteering at a rest home, but discovered that the elderly were being neglected, shoved aside and forgotten. As I stepped into the home a pungent odor penetrated my nostrils, causing an instantaneous gagging reflex. The place was abounded with neglected and subdued inhabitants, yearning for attention. Anybody that passed ...
But we also cannot say that all our films are based on reality, many scripts can be subjected to defection. The only reason for which these films are forced to accept reality as their basic is lack of technology or else they would also have gone out of the real world. Now the question arises why do the public accept these kinds of films although they know that these are not relevant to reality? This is because, India consist of many hard working {labour classed} people who after doing whole day hard work will never want to see their real condition because if a mirror is placed before an ugly man he will always feel unhappy for which the films representing our reality does not get support from the general public whereas those films which are based on unreal instances makes them to forget their condition at least for sometime but this sets a bad image in the minds of the common people and also cannot be counted to any profit. Besides there are films like 3-idiots, Munna Bhai MBBS.. OMG, etc which not only provides entertainment but also lots of knowledge to the people, even though they also take the help of unreality but these can be subjected to reality.
As like the condition of our film industry, every thing representing our true culture and identity are in danger. This is because of the effect of Globalization. When we see some Bollywood films, if we observe them carefully in many cases we can feel the effect of Hollywood and moreover we can easily gat excess to a Hollywood film for which the demand for our films are decreasing and all these happens due to the effect of Globalization. Globalization can be regarded as the successive phase of modernity and post-modernity and the relation between these three phases can be better understood with the help of Karl Marx’s statement, “All that is solid melts into air”, that means whatever was modern before is now changed and this change is a continuous process.

Not only film industry but also various traditional and handloom industries are suffering due to Globalization. For instance, we can count the downfall of the Polyester Mill of Rongia which according to many people along with various reasons is now closed also due to the intervention of Goenka silk industry which is based on western technologies and because of which many local people had to give up their jobs. This is only one example, there are many more industries which are still suffering because the items made with western technologies are more cheaper than the items made with our traditional process and also consumes less time.
The acceptance of the western cultures and traditions as modernization has changed the outlook of our people for which their lifestyle has changed dramatically. Long time negligence of their own culture has corrupted the basic practices of their lifestyle. They themselves are now confused among their own culture and the western ones. Today the young and the upcoming generations’ will not be able to distinguish between the traditional Bihu songs and those sang by Zubeen Garg, Anupum Saikia and all in albums. Similarly they will also forget the traditional crafts, practices, etc. if at the present time someone is asked to deliver a speech in pure Assamese for five minutes then I am sure of the fact that we all being an Assamese will not be able to speak for more than five seconds. Modernizati8on does not mean accepting the western culture by ignoring our own, rather it means development of our own culture with the help of modern scientific technologies. We also cannot blame Globalization alone for all this, besides it has its own benefits, it is we who are to be blamed because we know how to accept from others but don’t know how to maintain those which we already have rather we give them up for no value. India after 66 years of its independence is still being dominated by the western countries. If China can stand as the 2nd most developed country in the world with the help of their own culture, language and traditions then why can’t we Indians? The time has come for us to take an oath to preserve our own cultures, languages and traditions or else we will not be able to identify our own people.
The Essay on Japanese Culture Western People Good
Japanese people follow groups. Although in this developed country all the opinions are free and our minds are supposed to be free, it seems like we are caged into some kind of category. The harmony among people are cherished, and so majority always wins. They are said to be modest, but it is more like they are scared to be outstanding. That is not either good thing or bad thing. That is just the ...
