Some people think the role of television in the display of and motivation toward violence? Some people think that children learn violence behavior from their parents, not from television or movies. In my opinion, I think that the role of television in the display of and motivation toward violence. Television is popular in this society, and people enjoy watching to the current movies, especially famous movies, in people’s spare time. However, some writers and director and businessman produce movies referring to violence, sex, and drugs in order to make more money. Such the roles of television are not appropriate for teenagers. Because of this, I believe that the role of television referring to violence, sex, and drugs should be taken off in our society.
Initially, watching the role of television in the display of and motivation toward referring violence, sex, and drugs might influence teenagers in negative way. The role of television is just like some rated-R movies and gang movies, which are not suitable for teenagers to see. I have read a book by a psychologist, who indicated that as teenagers grow up, their thoughts are not stable and are changed easily. Accordingly, if students watching the role of television in the display about violence, sex, and drugs, their minds will get more disturbed. Therefore, teenagers should not watch the role of television in the display about violence, sex, and drugs.
Secondly, the role of television in the display referring to violence, sex, and drugs may distract teenagers from their studies. If a teenager pay more attention to watching the role of television in the display, he/she must be disturbed on his study. In the other words, he can not keep up with his study. As a result, he has to withdraw the school. However, he is too young to work. Because of this, he may pervert to do wrong doing with underground members. For this reason, teenagers should not watch the role of television in the display referring to violence. Such as, the crime programs and cartoon shows, which are usually based on some sorts of violence, will jeopardize children’s lives since kids are easily swayed.
