Teenage life and its choices are very important. Every teenager has to deal with these choices. Some of those do not effect a lot but some can effect as much as your career in life. The choices I have thought of are drugs, felonies, and college. Drugs are extremely bad and can make you unhealthy. The affects of drugs can range from just having a good time to hospitalization, even death.
When you do drugs you are likely to get addicted. When you are addicted you make stupid choices and you start to lose your train of thought. When you lose the common sense that you possess you make the wrong decisions and can be trouble with the law. Committing a felony is not the right thing to do. It is illegal and you can be placed in jail for a long period of time.
Some people are even sentenced to death because of the crime they have chosen to do. Felonies can restrict you from doing certain things or getting certain jobs you want. Many colleges will not accept a student with a bad legal record. College is a very important choice in everyone’s life. It may not be the only way to have a good career, but even actors / actresses have to go to college.
The only way they wouldn’t is if they got a lucky break which isn’t very common for people. College is a learning environment in many ways. It helps you learn what you are interested in and also allows you to meet new people and learn about new cultures. Choices are more than just trying get around things or taking the easy way out. It is taking a choice that has come upon you and making the right decision that will lead you in the right direction. Teenagers are full of these decisions each and every day, but some are not as important as others.
