Introduction
teen pregnancy is a societal problem, a family problem and a personal problem all rolled into one. While the pregnant teenage girl is the one who stands to suffer the most from the circumstance in the short run, many more problems loom over the horizon. Certainly, the man involved in the process should be held accountable in many ways. Whether he stands up to his responsibility or not, often the costs associated with teenage pregnancy are still off the chart financially, emotionally and in many other ways. _Therefore as a society, we should be more responsible for teenage mothers as well as for their child they bear due to the fact that they still young and incapable of handling such responsibilities. This is because they are financially not secured; they do not have parenting skills, and teenage mothers do not know how to take care themselves during pregnancy._

Pregnant teens are less likely to complete their high school and attend college. Therefore it limits their opportunities and well paying jobs.
The absence of many teenage fathers further increases a young mother’s risk of poverty and welfare dependence.
The government should give a second chance to these teens by creating a curriculum that helps them to further their studies. This should be flexible for the teen moms and able to spend quality time with their babies.
This would give them a chance to get a good job to manage their kids.
For instance in 1996 Congress passed “Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act“.
Rebuttal argument 2: They are not mentally prepared to have the child.
We could offer them help and should not neglect them when they require our help.
The government through the ministry of women and welfare development should organize parenting classes on methods of taking care babies and prepare the teen mentally to be a good parent.
Studies have been carried out and they come out with a conclusion that they are positive effects from parenting and social programs for teenage mothers on child development, and maternal child interactions.
For instance, March of Dimes organizes programs and educational materials for teen pregnancy and funds programs for research, community services education and advocacy.
Opposing argument 3: The public thinks that teen mothers can take care themselves during pregnancy period.
Rebuttal argument 3: Teenage mothers do not know how to take care themselves during pregnancy.
The child might have health complication if teen mothers do not a good of her during pregnancy.
Many pregnant teenagers are subject to nutritional deviancies due to poor eating habit caused by attempt to lose weight through dieting, skipping meals, too choosy of food, snacking and consumption of fast food.
As a result, the children born are in premature and low birth weight.

To overcome these problems, the government clinics should provide services, advices, and consultations for these out of wedlock pregnant teenagers too.
They should provide the babies with vaccinations accordingly as the babies.
Conclusion
As a conclusion, it clearly shows that society has lots of responsibilities that can bring positive influences in teenage mothers’ life as well as for their babies who are innocents. Even though the public has responsibilities on these wedlock teenage pregnancies, however teenagers must avoid and prevent this social problem from growing. They should not take public’s kindness for granted.
