The Battle of Gay Rights
Every political issure has its own Beowolf and its own Grendell. No matter how much someone believes in something there is always that one person, or group of people who will go against it. Gay rights is not only a modern battle, but it is a battle that has been going on for many years. There are two distinct sides to this battle. The Grendell, those fighting against gay rights, and the Beowolf, those fighting for them.
In Beowolf, Grendell attacks the people because he does not agree with their beliefs. His goal is to get them to stop worshipping God. The people protesting against gay rights do not believe it is morally right. They are the believers of the old. These Grendells are so used to being told that only people of different sexes are allowed to marry. They protest and do whatever possible to prevent and prolong the legalization of same-sex marriages.
Beowolf in the story stood up for what was right. He fought not only for himself, but mostly for others. These Beowolfs are the strong hearted ones. People fighting for gay rights have very strong beliefs. They feel that gays have just as many rights as straight people. Gays should be able to love and marry whoever they please. They are no less human than anyone else. Not only gay individuals fight for gay rights. Many straight people have stepped up in support of this issue. These people stay true to their beliefs and refuse to back down until they accomplish their goal.
The Term Paper on Photograph Frame Advert Gay People
I have decided to spilt the following essay into 4 sections, the first three concern different adverts and the final one is a discussion of gay advertising in general. The first advert I shall be looking at is 'Corvette Duvet Cover' from Gay Times, Issue March 2000, page 67. This is a written text, as far as the author is aware this text does not appear in any other medium. The text was found ...
The battle between Beowolf and Grendell can be seen in many places. The struggle for gay rights may be one of the longest battles that is still occuring. The Grendells are very close-minded and it will take much more time to change their minds. The Beowolfs will not give up no matter what. They are determined to defeat these Grendells and see a change in the world. If this battle ends like the one in Beowolf, we are sure to see a major change in the way people view gay marriage.
