There are many types of motorcycle riders in this day and age. Two types of riders seen most often are the cruisers, a Harley Davidson rider, and the Crotch Rockets, a Yamaha rider. The type of motorcycle an individual rides depends on personal taste and personality. Some like the speed and lightness of a Honda F 3.
Others just like to cruise on a Harley Davidson or an Indian. Owners of the cruiser bikes often attempt to make their bike a “one-of-kind” by chroming them out, installing custom exhaust pipes and custom paint jobs. Harleys can be chromed from the gas tank all the way down to the bolts and nuts that hold the bike together. Custom pipes are must. Many Harley riders buy different pipes so they can be louder or have a nicer rumble sound.
Custom paint jobs on a Harley or an Indian is the best way to set one’s bike apart from the rest. A custom paint job consists of a graphic design with many colors or portraits of a favorite movie star. Honda and / or Yamaha motorcycles are limited to their customizing. There is little metal showing to chrome and the bodies are made of fiberglass. This is the main reason why one will not see a custom paint job on a Crotch Rocket. The only two things that may be changed is the exhaust pipe, which is geared towards performance reasons rather than looks, and the seat on the bike.
The Term Paper on Lessons To Learn From Steve Jobs
A man of the stature of Steve Jobs needs no introduction. Steve Jobs, undoubtedly, was one of the greatest entrepreneurs and a great visionary of the 20th century. Steve Jobs revolutionized the computer industry by democratizing the technology and making the computers smaller, cheaper, intuitive and accessible to everyday consumers. The reason for changing the seat would be to make it a single passenger bike. People that ride a cruiser bike are generally more laid back, fun loving and funny people. These riders enjoy taking nice rides through the mountains enjoying the scenery on a sunny day. Cruisers generally are not in a hurry to get anywhere, unless they are going to work. Even then, one may take their time in getting there.
Most of all cruisers like to ride in groups. They love to be surrounded by one another. On the other hand, Crotch Rocket riders are generally high-strung and impatient. They usually ride alone, at very fast speeds and weave in and out of traffic. If they do ride with another person, they almost always try to see who can beat the other off the start line and who will be first to the destination point. It is a battle of testosterone between the two riders.
Often Crotch Rocket riders are cocky, self-absorbed, and believe they are invincible. The way most Cruiser riders dress is less than desirable, however, the way they are dressed, generally has something to do with the ride for that day. Because there are so many types of Harley riders, it is hard to say that they have a certain way of dressing. A black shirt, usually a Harley Davidson or Sturgis t-shirt, and jeans are normal attire. Most cruisers will not wear shorts. This is for safety reasons.
One, a person can burn their leg on the hot exhaust pipes, or if there is an accident, legs are better protected from road rash when wearing jeans. Cruisers have various lengths of hair; some have facial hair, and most do not wear helmets unless it is a law in the state they live in. Crotch Rocket riders, generally have short “in-style” haircuts and usually wear helmets if they are on the highway. Crotch Rocket riders, however, are stylish dressers.
They are out to impress others with their clothes and bike. Some do play it smart and wear full leather while they ride the freeways. In addition, shorts and tank tops are worn. With all the different types of personalities and preferences, one thing that all riders have in common is the love to ride.
