Cartoons have become a priority for children throughout the years. This has become a problem because some of the cartoons have become a bad influence for children’s.
The Children who watch too much cartoons on television are more likely to have mental and emotional problems, along with brain and eye injuries and unexpectedly the risk of a physical problem increases.
There are so many controversies between cartoons and children’s. For example: Teletubbies a cartoon that seemed harmless and was very attractive for children under 4 years. But what was behind teletubbies? The colors they used were related to homosexuality (purple and pink) and too many parents complain that their children’s were become dumb. “The same was proved conclusively about Sesame Street’s Bert and Ernie“ Also, Pockemon was a cartoon that caused a crucial impact because of the violence reflected in its episodes.
POKEMON BEHIND THE SCENE
Pokemon was published and owned by Japanese video game company Nintendo and created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996. The Pokémon computer game, television show, and movies have many distinctively Japanese elements and concerns. Pokémon’s creator, Tajiri Kojiro, has stated that his dream was to create a computer game that would allow contemporary Japanese children to reconnect with nature through learning to identify and care for insect-like creatures. (Feilitzen & Carlsson, 2002)
Initially Pikachu and Pokémon were chosen to be the main characters for the franchise. Pikachu was the start of the show, under the belief that the creature presented the image of a recognizable intimate pet for children. Therefore, the color of Picachu was yellow because it is a primary color and easier for children to recognize from a distance.
The Essay on Children With Reading Problems
The article by Susan M. Tancock focuses its attention to the needs of special students. These students are considered poor readers. They are usually behind in reading and writing skills when compared to their classmates (peers). The special instruction that these students receive ordinarily involves the recognition of identifying sounds of letters and words instead of the construction of their ...
In December 1997, an episode of the Japanese cartoon “Pokémon” drew worldwide attention after multiple cases of children suffering seizures after watching the episode were reported. (Leu, 2004)
Just 30 minutes after the show ended, 618 children were rushed to Japanese hospitals, complaining of symptoms that suggested epileptic seizures. They included convulsions, lapses in awareness, nausea, headaches and blurred vision. Doctors first said the seizures were due to photosensitive epilepsy – the result of a scene in the cartoon that included a series of strobe-like flashes. (Bill , 2001)
The image of the cartoon does not portray any violence. We can only see the characters, the expression of happiness on their faces and the use of bright colors like yellow and orange. In the other hand, if we see the cartoon itself the images and values are manipulating the minds and feelings of the children who are into it. Pokémon conditions them to accept humanistic wisdom and occult spirituality. (Brown)
Researchers said that children copied and identified with fantasy characters just as much as they would with screen actors.(Clark, 2009)

The Term Paper on Child Welfare And Domestic Violence
Child safety and Domestic Violence It is amazing to me the children are removed from home, where the mothers have been victims of domestic violence. Also that the victim is often left to stay with the batterer. I am a case manager in a Prevention agency in the South Bronx. One of the families that I am working with the mother was physically, emotionally and verbally by her ex-boyfriend. Her ex- ...
