1st Journal Entry: 1) Describe your idea of a perfect world. include all important information. My idea of a perfect place would be perfect in my mind. You would have endless money and do mostly whatever you want. The government would not be generally strict but it would be very law-enforcing. Although the laws would not be very strict the laws would be very serious. Some of them would be like no killing and no smoking and other things that are problems in our regular world today. Another thing would be no global warming and that is good for everybody and the animals. That would help the ice glaciers in the Arctic and would help the polar bears. Your families would be a family that you never fight with and you would have as many siblings up to three children.
Your children would get a top of the line education with the best teachers ever. A good thing for kids at school will be their one hour free period. The climate in a perfect world be a mild temperature year round. Everybody who lives in the world will be a Christian. They will believe in God and will do what is right most of the time. The time that you wouldn’t be doing something right would be during a competition or when you are really ticked. Food and shopping would be same old same old as it is here with all your Wal-marts and Targets and Bi-Lo’s. Although the food would be different. It would be mostly junk, candy, hot dogs, burgers, and pizza but there would also be some other good foods.
The Essay on Hamburger and Perfect Party Food
I hate when my stomach feels so empty. The growling and tightening of my insides drives me insane. The only thing on my mind at the time is food. Anything else doesn’t matter. My three favorite foods are chicken, burgers, and last pizza. You can’t go wrong with chicken. It goes with many sides such as corn, potatoes, or fries. Fried chicken is the best because it makes the skin so crisp and ...
2nd Journal Entry: 2) Describe a time when you were scared, what happened? A time when I was scared was when I was on a haunted hayride and people were popping out at you. Although you kind of knew it was coming they made it so that they almost tricked you. They made seem like it was going to happen on one side but then it pops out on the other side of the trailer. IT was pretty scary. They did the same thing the whole ride except with different people from different horror movies like Jason from Friday the 13th and Saw and a bunch of other people. The worst part about it was that I had to sit on the edge where they could just come up and touch you and get up on the trailer and sit beside you.
The way I dealt with my fear was to just let it out. Although most of the hayride wasn’t that scary there were some parts where they caught you by surprise and scared the crap out of you. But like I said earlier the scariest part is when they trick you and pop out on the opposite side of where you think that they are going to pop out on. That is the time when they catch you by surprise and scare the crap out of you. this hayride was at a party which was really fun so I was kind of like Jonas when he was feeling scared and apprehensive that when I was having fun after the hayride I felt better just like Jonas felt better after he shared his apprehensive feelings at the dinner table.
3rd journal Entry: 6) Have you ever any community service or mission trips, what do you do on those? Jonas and his classmates do a lot of community service and I have too. Although I have never been on a mission trip I do want to. In fact I actually might go on one this year. The mission trip wouldn’t be far away it would actually be at my church. But after Everybody gets there I think we will go out into the community and help people. So it is kind of community service but at my church they are technically calling it a mission trip. So then I will be able to say I went on a mission trip. Although I have not been on a mission trip I have done a lot, a lot of community service.
The Essay on Community And Race Bangladeshi People
Community and race are directly related to each other. Since community is a large society composed of a number of people with different backgrounds, people are categorized into several groups according to their ethnicity. Moreover, each of the particular ethnic groups is considered a subculture group. Although the subculture groups follow the same laws and rules of the community, they share a ...
When you are doing community service it is exactly what it says you go out into the community and help out people. One thing that I like about community service is the warm feeling you get inside of you when you know you did something good for somebody. Another thing I like about community service is that there are different types of community service and I learned that after my first week of doing community service. I did a Vacation Bible School at my church and pretty much all we did was go to the shelter like places in Charlotte and help people in all different types of ways. The different types of ways we helped people were washing their cars or doing a talent show for them or even just spending the day with them and playing BINGO with them.
4th Journal Entry: 7) What do you think about the stirrings pills, and what emotions are they for? I think the stirrings pills are very weird. I don’t really understand everything about the stirrings let alone book. The stirrings very odd because you feel this one way you take a pill and it is gone all of a sudden. I mean like medicine that we take we take but it doesn’t automatically kick in I mean you got to wait a while before it heals anything. But with the stirrings it is a whole new game. The feeling that you get for the stirrings is kind of the feeling when you like a girl or a girl likes a boy. In our community what Jonas wants Fiona to do in the book is almost like the extreme in our but community but it is not all the way.
But in their community that is their way of liking somebody and that is perfectly fine. That feeling of liking somebody like that in their community is what the stirrings pills are for. You have to take one everyday or the stirrings will come back. If I had to take the stirrings pills I would feel kind of weird having to take a pill every morning but I would probably get used to it like they say in the book. I have taken medicine before for when my knee was messed up last year but it wasn’t like the stirrings pills where if you don’t take the medicine or forget to take the medicine m knee wouldn’t get worse it just wouldn’t get better.
5th Journal Entry: 4) Words are very important in this novel, what are some of your favorite words? I don’t really have a favorite word because I have never really thought of having a favorite word. I also never really thought favorite words were really important because people don’t really ask you that question and it never really comes up in a conversation. If it ever did come u in a conversation that I don’t remember than I would probably of said I don’t know but then I would come right back with what is your favorite word. If I did have a favorite word it would probably be Pyongyang which is the capital of North Korea. Pyongyang is pronounced pee – awng – yawng.
The Essay on A Picture Is worth A Thousand Words and Favorite Memory
People say a picture is worth a thousand words. I know how true that saying actually is. A picture also brings back memories; whether good or bad. I have a picture of a couple of my friends and I from our senior year spring break. Spring break senior year is my favorite memory. I went on a cruise with a couple of my best guy friends and I had the best time of my life during this week. All the talk ...
So I guess that would be my favorite word but who care s and it doesn’t really matter and I don’t think it is that important. The reason I like the word Pyongyang is because of the way it sounds because after you say it a couple of times it sounds funny and you keep saying it and then it gets addicting but then you lose that feeling after a while. So my least favorite word would probably be like because of the way that girls use it and sometimes guys too. When they talk like, “Have you like seen like those new shoes they are like so awesome,” and then it gets really annoying after a whole conversation or after a whole speech. So those would probably be my favorite and least favorite words so always say Pyongyang and never say like unless you have to.
