I think that the role of an educated person is not only to excel in whatever it is they do but to be a good role-model to everyone. Even when we don’t know it, people look up to us and it is our job not to show them how they shouldn’t act but how they should. This can be done by doing the little things, such as acknowledging the little people (kids and such) and doing things to help your community. By doing the little things the young people of the world will see this and know that it’s the right thing to do when they become successful. In turn making cleaner and safer communities. The possibilities of a community that is absolutely safe may not be possible but when one person makes any kind of change in a community that’s a start.

One could be the greatest athlete around but, if one day they couldn’t be that athlete, then, the one thing that they would hopefully have to fall back on is their education. This is why education has always been important to me and continuing it is my dream.
The Essay on Is Community Education a Myth
