You know how you have the alphabet hanging up in your classroom, you could put up Chinese and Spanish alphabet. Also, you could have a day to teach about another culture. You could show tapes on how they live and how we all compare to each other in some way even assign something simple that will let them find out something on there own. Having a speaker or party will open up your class to learning in a fun way. This way you will bring fun and diversity into the classroom making all the kids comfortable. So make everyday a day of learning about different ways of life and cultures.
