Mitch goes to visit Morrie for the second time. Morrie is becoming less and less indepentdent every time Mitch goes to see him. His nurse now needs to help him with going to the the bathroom. Morrie is having a hard time waking up and doing everything that he used to be able to do with out being in pain. Mitch questions him and says why don’t you just give up so you wont have to be in pain anymore. Morrie tells him that he shouldn’t dwell to much on his physical state instead look forward to whats to come in the rest of his days. There is only a small state in mind to feel sorry for himself Morrie explains to Mitch. Mitch really enjoys going over to Morrieās because it brings out the good in him that he forgot he had.
Morrie is a lot like my mom. My mom suffered from cancer a few a years ago. She had a attuide like Morrie where they stayed positive all the time. She didn’t want to think of the negative outcome that could happen to her. She lived each day with pain but she knew she couldn’t think about it because she had her job, family, and friends that needed her more than anything. I believe that if you have a attitude like Morrie you will be a lot happier and stronger for the rest of your life. She now one of the best role models out there for being a positive uplifting person even in worst sitiouns.
Fifth Tuesday with Morrie
Mitch goes to visit Morrie he notices that he is losing weight quickly. He notices his clothes are not fitting as well as they usually are. This Tuesdays they decide to talk about family and how important it is to have a families support through everything. In this Tuesday Morrie tells Mitch about the quote Love or perish which means if you don’t love anyone you mines not live. Morrie also says that friends are great to have, but your family will be the ones always there and your family are going to be the ones that are going to be there surrounding you when you are about to go away, they are there surrounding you with love. Mitch asks Morrie if thinks its important to have children and Morrie says there is nothing like having children of your own to be responsible for. Mitch gets sad not only because he has no children but because he has almost completely lost communication with his brother which makes him very sad. This also makes him think about his lover and how he seems to put his work and success over his time and dedication to his girlfriend.

My dad is a lot like Morrie because he always enjoys having my family around. He loves making sure everyone is together on holidays and vacations because he doent want anyone to feel left out. He says he goes to work each day so he can support his family to the best he can so he can make sure we are all happy but also saves time for his family. He wouldn’t trade the world for his family because he knows that we will always be there for each other and when friends go away family will always be in your life to help you out with anything you need.
Eighth Tuesday with Morrie
On this tuesday it is one of the better days for Morrie. One of Morrie’s favorite bands comes to sing to him for his own private show. He was very happy because since his illness music has become apart of him. Music brings him to tears not because of how sad it is but how beautiful the sounds is. Its the little things in life that make Morrie happy not money anymore. Thats what they talk about on this Tuesday. They talk about how money can make a person turn evil. Its not always about having the finest things in life but making sure that you are happy and living comfortable. Morrie tells Mitch about how the culture today thinks that money can replace love. Morrie also tells Mitch that he should go out and and do things for the community or little things that will make you happy rather then spending your time in a office or buying peoples love with all the money you have.

Martial things break or go away but knowing that you made someones day will always be in your heart. Twelfth Tuesday with Morrie
Morrie cant do anything now. He is basically bedridden not people able to get up by himself anymore He is having a hard time talking now he is always coughing because his lungs are not doing very well. On this tuesday Morrie talks about forgiveness. He is living on regret because he did not forgive one of his best friends and now he is died and he cant forgive him anymore. Morrie knows that he should have forgave him now because you should always try to forgive people even if they hurt you because the next day they may not be on this earth anymore and you will just have to live with the regret of not saying anything. Morrie also tells Mitch where he will be buried. He will be buried on a hill in a beautiful location. Morrie wants Mitch to come and tell him his problems every tuesdays so that he will be able to listen instead of doing all the talking. Morrie tells Mitch that even if he is died he will always be there to listen to what he has to say.
My sister Marissa always makes sure to forgive. She does this because you never know what the next day may bring. You forgive that person even if they are in the wrong so that you will never have to live in reget. She shows me that it could be really hard to forgive someone because they hurt you but when you forgive them you can let go of the hurt they brought you.
