If you don’t have a never quit attitude and you give up easily, then you will be a failure for the rest of your until you change. If you develop this skill, it will help you rise from a follower to a leader or make you become a greater leader. To try hard means exactly what it says and it goes hand in hand with the never-quit attitude. This most definitely goes hand in hand because if you try your hardest and never quit, you will never fail.
For a leader to have will-power means they follow their goals until the end and meet their expectations and others. Will power is good to have when you have to cut habits, like smoking, to make you a better leader. My paternal grandfather has will power like iron. He smoked in the 70’s but when the doctor said it was messing up his lungs and heart, he quit automatically at the snap of a finger. Long term planning says exactly what it means also. Long term planning is important for people who are leaders so they can map out what their going to do.

If people don’t plan at all and live life at the moment, they will be failures thanks to their stupidity of not giving themselves a plan. It is good for a leader to have high expectations of himself/herself because if they strive for greater things than the average person they will obviously achieve more and live life to the fullest by reaping the profits of living by higher standards.
