Scripture Reading: Matthew 7 : 13-14 “Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the Gateway of life is small and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it”
“Where Will You End UP?”
July 25th 2012
Have you ever been on a road trip or even taking a hike in a trail and wondered where you will end up? Will the destination be a beautiful view of the city, a view of the ocean, or the view of the mountains or just a plain old view that you never expected!.
Its the same question when it comes to eternity! Where will you end up! Will you take the narrow road and spend eternity with Jesus Christ in Heaven, or will you take the broad road spend your eternity in a place where nobody wants to go and that is Hell. What determines your destination is what you did on this earth will determine where you will spend forever. We as christians who are borned again will have eternal life. 1 John 5:20 says “And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who he is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life”.

There are 2 roads that I mentioned earlier that you can take to spend your eternitiy.
1. There is a broad way: Jesus says there is a spacious road which a person can walk. What does he mean by the broad road? Jesus is trying to say that anything can come across your way on the broad road. You can do anything you want, you can carry your baggage of sins, you can live like you want and you can make all the rules. You can live your life to the fullest and be your own boss and not have to answer to anybody. It is the easiest way to live because there is noone to please but yourself. This is what the broad way is all about.
But there is a couple of things you need to know before you decide to live your life on the broad way.
A).
You are really not in control for it says in Ephesians 2 : 1-3 “once you were under Gods curse, doomed forever for your sins, you went along with the crowd and were just like all the others, full of sin, obeying Satan, the mighty prince of the power of the air, who is at work right now in the hearts of those tho are against the Lord.”.
B).
Sin brings with it pain and sorrow. In Galations 6:7 it mentions ” Dont be misled; remember that you cant ignore God and get away with it”.
Think about how you feel when someone ignores you or you do something and try to get away with it?. God feels the same way! God wants you to spend eternity with Him, but its up to you if you choose to have eternity with him.
C).
God offers way more than you ever can expect!. God has a plan for each and everyone of us and for those who follow Him can enjoy the fullest of God’s rich blessings day by day. In Galations 5 :22-23 says ” But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruits in us; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control”.
2. There is a Narrow Way: While the broad way is wide open and easy, the narrow way is the opposite. The narrow way can be difficult. When travelling on the narrow way, you cannot take your sins with you. When you choose to walk the narrow way, we have to try and give up our rights. You can no longer do things that you please, but now you have to do things that will please the Lord. You cannot make the rules, but you are expected to keep the Lords rules.
The Essay on My Road Path Manav Life Acted
Throughout everyone's life someone or something had contributed to what road path they decide to choose. It could be as small as deciding to purchase an item because everyone in school has it to someone who turns your whole perspective on life around. For me, I gained everything I never experienced. Imagining myself back in junior high I see a very timid girl who never kept her head up too high, ...
a).
Some people still have mistaken the idea that they can live as they please and think the Lord will smile down on them and bless them real good. When you walk the narrow way, we should expect difficulty!. It is not always easy walking the narrow way and living the Christian life. We will have people come along and discourage us, Satan will always be at our footsteps telling us not to do this or that for the Lord. But you know what friends!? We have to keep saying “Get thee behind me Satan” and open up our Bible so we can shoot him away. We sometimes sing the chorus ” I Command thee satan in the name of the Lord, to pick up your weapons and flee. For the Lord has given me athority, to stomp all over thee” Noone ever said that living for the Lord would be easy!. But the Lord tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 ” Let Him have all your worries and cares for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you”. But you may say “Wendy, God may not have the time to listen to me for all the cares and troubles I will have to tell him”. But listen here friends, God is always available 24/7. He is the God who will answer prayers and will help you through. For the verse says in Philipian 4:13 ” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
With walking on the narrow road, It honors God. “He himself has said ” You must be holy, for I am holy” ( 1 Peter 1:16).
It brings His blessings and power into your life. In 2 Chronicles 14 it says ” then if my people will humble themselves and pray, and search for me, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land”… Also, it offers a far better life from every perspective. “If he sows to please his own wrong desires, he will be planting seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death; but if he plants the good things of the Spirit; he will reap the everlasting life which the Holy Spirit gives him.” (Galations 6: 8-9)
Which road are you walking? The broad road or the narrow road??
Which road are you willing to walk? You can choose the wide gate which you can enter which is still have all your sins. Or you can chooose the narrow gate where God calls a sinner to Him for salvation and he must look away from the broad way and see that the narrow way offers life and hope and whereas the broad way only offers pain and death. In Matthew 7 :13 says ” Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way.”
The Essay on Speaker Road Life Paths
