Dear Sirs, Enclosed please find my application and letter requesting admittance to NYU graduate school for the Masters of Business Administration program. I attended NYU from 2002 through 2006, where I began my college career as a Computer Engineering major. After realizing my aptitude lay more in the Mathematics field, I made the decision to change my major accordingly.
As a result of my decision to change my major to Mathematics, my grades have increased my GPA significantly. I chose NYU for my undergraduate studies because I knew I would receive an excellent education here. For this very same reason, I desire to continue my post-graduate education here as well.
While completing my MBA, I will be working for a corporation. My short-term goals include working for a corporation for a few years to gain experience in the working world. While employed in the corporate world, I will obtain first-hand knowledge of the nuances of both the conception and operation of a successful enterprise.
I have always had the character and discipline of a leader. This is why my longt-term goal is to manage my own business. NYU will hone my leadership and business skills, so that I will succeed initially in the corporate world, and secondly when I manage my own company.
