WHY I SHOULD RECEIVE THIS SCHOLARSHIP. I should receive this Scholarship because of financial need. I have a desire to further my education but this has been thwarted due to lack of money. Getting the Scholarship will enable me to realise my ambition. Secondly there is need for me to receive this Scholarship because I excelled in my studies. I was the best student overall. On merit I deserve to be given the Scholarship to enable me proceed to the higher institution of learning. Without which I will be unable to proceed due to lack of funds.
Another reason I should be given this scholarship is the desire to develop my career. With proper education and training, the chances of getting employment with the Federal are high. This will give an opportunity to participate in building our nation. Besides working for the government however, I can also work in the private sector where I will strive to apply my experience and skills gained by creating jobs for the young educated unemployed youth. Further I should receive the Scholarship since it will expose me to the outside world. This is by meeting people from different backgrounds.
Interacting with them will benefit me more in the sense that through exchange I will learn the challenges facing different communities and the global in general and the ways on how to tackle them. Finally receiving this Scholarship will not only benefit as an individual, but also the society. It will motivate the students to work hard in the hope that they will excel and get the same Scholarship. Also having attained highest education in the society I will be a good example to the young generation who could want to emulate me. It will make them work hard in school whose result will be reduction of illiteracy..
