History is important for numerous reasons. We learn from our
mistakes. We share a common experience that binds us together. Our minds
are store our experiences(history).
Our roots, which is basically our round
and where we come from. Society can build upon past accomplishments, and
it also helps us to speculate the future.
The first, and most significant reason history is important is because
we learn from our mistakes. If there was no history then everyone would
make the same mistakes over and over. That is why it is very good for
someone of high rank in the United States Military to know a good sum of
history. They can review what their past commander s faults were and not
make the same mistakes over. As in any job, if you can evade any mistakes
you or someone else made in the past then you would run a more efficient
working place. An intelligent person would not make the mistakes
themselves but learn from other people s mistakes. For example, if my older
brother were to get burned by an iron, I would be very careful the next time
I use the iron, since I would have the same chances of getting burned if not
careful.
The second reason history is important is because we share a common
The Essay on Why History Is Important
ESSAY Why History is Important Knowing history is essential to us because we can acquire things from our past and will be able to learn and grow form them. Knowing our history keeps us from making the same mistakes. We can also find out our families past and see where we come from by looking up our roots. We can look into history and try to predict the outcome of what we might do in the future. We ...
experience which binds us together as a country, society, and people. We an
relate with our neighbors, peers, or even someone off the street if we could
have the same cultural background, the reason is because we know where
the other person is coming from and essentially how their parents brought
them up. If we didn t have history than we would not have any thing to share
with one another. For example imagine if you didn t know where you came
from, who any one else was, or where they came from. You just know that
everyone was there when you got there. Then you would really have no
races or anything. You would just have that s how that person looks and
that s it . You don t know if your ancestors were related with that person.
The reason having races is important is because people tend to help out each
other if they have the same background. It would be like starting all over
every hundred years or so.
The third reason history is an important factor of life is because Our
minds are store our experiences(history), that we need. Everyone is born
with this part in the brain where it stores all the history that you see, hear,
and feel. Now if we didn t have any history it would be like having amnesia
every day, and we would not be able to know what is what, since there is no
history. For example when have a certain experience like going to the beach
for the first time and it s the first time you smell the sand, or see waves
crashing that s an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. If you didn t have any history then every time you go somewhere it will be like the first time since you don t remember, and you would not have any
experience. People would not have any personalities what so every either
since, I believe, that your personality is based on your past experiences.
The fourth explanation why history is important is because we often
share a common bond with people of the same race, religion, or background.
We know where they are coming from, how they were raised, or what they
believe in. People feel more comfortable with people of their race because
they have the same background. For example, my mom would feel more
The Essay on Ever Since The Beginning Of The Humankind History People Were
Ever since the beginning of the humankind history people were trying to express their thoughts and feelings, and deliver them to the next generations. The first examples of the art form are dated back to the prehistoric ages. The paintings on the cave walls is just one of the many forms of art that managed to live through the many centuries. Sometime between 30,000 and 40,000 thousand years ago ...
comfortable with someone of my race rather than someone of another race.
The reason for this is because she could probably speak with them more
comfortably since they speak a specific language.
The fifth reason why history is important is because society can build
upon past accomplishments with out having to re-achieve them. We as
people make a lot of inventions and discoveries. If there was no history than
we would not even have a language. People would not be able to maintain a
language since they do not have a memory, and since they don t have a
memory they cant store they information(words).
Usually an inventor has a
diary or notebook of their findings so that we as a people can benefit from it,
and later on know how that specific thing works. Now if we did not have
any history then there would be no point of even trying to invent and
discover. Since all the information that you gathered would be forgotten and
the people would have to wait for another person to make the same
conclusions, and who knows how long that would take. For example, when
Christopher Columbus the New World he made one of the most important findings ever. But if someone did not write how to get there down then no one after him would be able to know where America is, and have to wait for someone else to discover it.
The final reason history is important is because it helps us to predict
the future. History helps us predict the future because we can scrutinize the
history of something and predict that the same thing will happen again.
Although we can t really predict the future one hundred percent we can
make an educated guess by looking at the history of the object. Being able to
predict the future is important because then you can be ready for almost
anything. For example if I were a scientist and I saw that a certain species as
declining in population, in a certain pattern then I could probably predict
then the species should be extinct by using the pattern of it s history, if
someone didn t try to preserve the animal, or something in nature drastically

happens like mating season arrives and their population increases.
Now that I think of it, history is one of the most important things in
life. Before I thought that history would never effect me since I didn t want
to become a teacher or anything that requires to know history. In fact I
would call history a BS subject, but now I understand the significance, and
reason for history.
