I work at a movie theater and I have seen grown men go and see a scary movie together. I also know that some people aren’t bothered by horror movies and invite other people just to see them squirm. Everyone likes a good horror movie because as human beings, we like the thrill it gives us. Horror movies give us a thrill of not knowing what is going to happen next.
The best horror movies though, are the ones that are based on a true story; those really make people squirm in their seats.
