You Can Stop a Home Invasion
Would you want to keep your family safe? I think the answer to that question would be “yes”. There is no such thing as an absolute security, but there are things you can do to protect yourself against a home invasion. An alarm system can help in many ways such as, home invasion, fire, and carbon monoxide leaks. The alarm system will notify the monitoring center, even if you are not home. Of course, let’s do not forget the help for elderly; I have fallen and I cannot get up. Does this sound like a great gift to have?
What does your home mean to you? A home is the place where you park your car, eat your dinner, sleep in your bed, it is the place where you belong. A home is a very personal place. It is your personal space; it should be a calm and restful place. It is a place where all your personal belongings are. It is where your family and pets reside. It is a wonderful place to be, it is not a place for someone to invade. It is not a good feeling to know that someone has been in your home and went through your things, and taken whatever they wanted. That is really an uneasy feeling to have. According to (Family Home Security, 2009-2012, p.2) “a home without an alarm system is 2.7 to 3.5 times more likely to be burglarized than a home that has a burglar alarm.”
The Essay on Gas Prices Home Place Player
Your paycheck is buying less for several reasons. For starters, if you plan on going to the gas station these days you better bring along the checkbook. Gas prices have been on the rise since it bottomed out back in May of last year when we were only paying $0. 64 a gallon compared to today's $1. 54. 9 per gallon. So that raise you received, just throw it right out the window because it is not ...
Why do you need an alarm system or some type of surveillance system in your home? In Today’s society, there are many things that you should be concerned about. The crime rate is raising everyday; everyone should be aware that crime goes on around them. The unemployment rate is climbing and so is the crime rate. This causes people to rob banks, rob stores, rob homes, and anything else they can think of to make a dollar. Another statistic, (from a study by the National Burglar and Fire Association), was that 9 out of 10 convicted burglars admitted that they would avoid stealing from a house that had a monitored security system. (“How a Monitored Security System Affects Crime Statistics,” 2009-2012, p.2) There are many reasons why people steel, food, clothing, and drugs. The drug habits that people have cause them to do anything to get money. As you hear people say “money is the root of all evil. “ No matter how much you ignore crime, it is still there. According to Home Security Systems, “Burglaries in the U.S. occur every 15 seconds and the average residential burglary loss that individuals claim on their homeowner’s insurance is over $1,600.” (“Home Security Systems and Current Crime Statics, 20 Oct, 2010”).
Do you know if there is anyone in your house right now that should not be? Well that is why you need an alarm system in your home. An alarm system can be put in your home in a matter of a couple of hours. An alarm system is a good investment for home owners. If you are going to purchase a home, an alarm system should be top on the list as a necessity. The alarm system is put on all the doors and windows in the home; you have 60 seconds to turn off the alarm before the police are notified. The alarm will have a loud sound and if you have neighbors very close by, they will hear the roaring of the alarm. The top of the line alarm systems will have a carbon monoxide detector on it, so it can detect if there is a fire. According to Bruce Kelly, “Carbon monoxide poising kills at least 2,100 people every year in the U.S. More than 15,000 cases of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning cases are reported on an annual basis.” (Ezine Articles, 2012) This is an asset if you have pets at home. You have a better chance of saving a pet from a fire if you have an alarm system that notifies the fire department that there is a fire and that you need their help. The touch pad for the alarm system is inside the home, usually close to a door.
The Term Paper on Control Panel System House Alarm
Introduction There have been a number of burglaries in the area in which the Peterson family are living; thus they have become increasingly interested in Control Technology in their home. They have contacted me, and my task is to prepare a report, which advises them upon various alarm systems, also considering fire detection systems. I am going to provide the Petersons with two reports, one ...
The touch pad has emergency buttons on it, such as police, fire, and ambulance; just push the button and they will be on the way to your home. This comes in handy, in case someone has met you at the door and is demanding to come in your home; there is a special code in case this happens. Most alarm systems have a motion detector, that will detect anything under 40 pounds that may be moving in the home. They have security lights that help guide you out of the home in case of a fire. A video surveillance is also a good thing to have, because you can see the people coming and going in the home. This is especially good if you have pet sitters or maids come in the home when you’re not there. You also do not have to worry about it being hooked to a phone line and the wires being cut, because thanks to today’s technology, the alarm system uses the cell phone towers for their signal; also back up batteries are in place.
The conclusion is that an alarm system is a wonderful thing to have. It can give you a peace of mind when you are not home. Do not forget that a burglar could be someone you know. Make your family safe; install an alarm system today!
