How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse So just imagine one day when you wake up and turn on the news. It says in big letters zombie epidemic has finally come. What do you do you say in your head, but you just cannot find out what to do and how to do it. Well I have four simple steps to know what to do. I memorize it in a little phrase that says, “Please remember what’s first”. Please stands for protection, remember stands for rescue, what stands for water , and first stands for food. If you just remember that phrase you might just survive the zombie epidemic.
First of all, you start with protection which means you need weapons and some type of fortress. For weapons guns will work , but they make sounds so try not to use them unless your backs against the wall. Melee weapons for example knives, swords, axes, and spears are all great ways to protect yourself just make sure you hit them in the head in the first place or they won’t die. Also bows and crossbows can be used as a silent way to take zombies down from a distance without noise.
For a fortress any house, building, or an actual military fort will do. Just make sure you board up windows with metal preferably and put big locks on doors and always have and extra escape route in case anything goes wrong. Second of all, is rescue which means you need to come up with plans if say people get hurt ,lost ,or trapped. If somebody gets hurt than use the medical supplies you have for it because you need all the help you can get, unless it’s a bite or scratch then just kill them, that’s the way it has to be.

If somebody is trapped help them get out in quick time unless they already been bitten or scratched then just leave them, but if they can be helped do as much as you can possible until they are free. Lastly and one of the most important is water and food.
Just face it without either you will not be in the condition to fight, run , or even live. So for food the best thing is to hunt the wild or raid houses , these can both be dangerous where as when you raid a house there is most likely going to be zombies and in the wilds you might encounter some ,but not that likely. For water just use a natural resource such as rivers, lakes, and ponds. If you have a well use it , but check it regularly for infestations. If your somewhere where water isn’t close try to make a canal to run water to your position so its safer and easier to get water.

Remember melee weapons are your friends and so are guns, but they attract by sound so only as a last resort. Remember the phrase “Please Remember What’s First” and you’ll be okay.
