True heroism is remarkably sober, very unspectacular. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others. My dream begins with a teacher who believes in me, who drags, drives and leads me to the next plateau, sometimes poking me with a sharp stick called “truth”. There are many things which can make a teacher great and they all can’t be defined. However, I have always considered several of them essential. A worthwhile teacher is someone who creates and stimulates the interest not only in studying, but also in inspiring, doesn’t underestimate the students, has equal expectations of success from everyone, and of course, likes his job.
My teacher has been my living hero since I entered the vibrant world of education. He is the one who helps me how to add cheerfulness and how to subtract twinges in my term of existence. He encourages me how to multiply achievements and fulfillments, and how to divide abhorrence and detestation that are bumping into my life. He pushes me to soar high as I can be, keep reaching my dreams, strive what is the real me. He has inspired me to compose the best novel I can ever write.
My teacher gives me something to take home to think about besides homework and assignments. Aside from teaching from the books, he also teaches from the heart. A unique and ideal trait of my teacher which truly inspires me is being a candle. He consumes himself to light the way for others. For me, he is more than just Dr. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Gregorio del Pilar and other heroic figures. He affects eternity, He can never tell where his influence stops.

I appreciate all the deeds of my teacher. He does everything just for the sake of learning of his students. Although sometimes, he gives us challenging tasks and tough assignments to be accomplished, I understand his purposes and objectives. In fact, I am very eager to finish and to master his lessons for I want him to feel rejoiced when he is teaching me. I want him to know that every drop of his perspiration and every word of his encouragement are not wasted, but are cherished and preserved to serve as my fuel for the life’s challenging adventures.
Indeed, my heroine teacher makes my life more inspired and exalted. It doesn’t matter whether he hurts me and my classmates. It is just so happened that he does that for the sake of my improvement and amelioration. What matters is his unselfish consideration for me and for the class, the successor of the Utopic values.
The characteristic of genuine heroism is its persistency. All men have wandering impulses, fits and starts of generosity. But when you have resolved to be great, abide by yourself and do not try to reconcile yourself with the world. The heroic cannot be common, nor the common heroic. He turns my life into pleasant privileges. He provides my future with immense satisfaction and vast happiness. He serves as my compass in navigating well my curiosity, knowledge and wisdom.
