Bo Jackson once said, “set your goals high, and don’t stop till you get there.” Without goals I would be lost on which move to make next. I would be like a baby without its mother, lost and confused. Goals determine where I’m going to go in life. Therefore, goals are very important to me as a devoted student and a person who cares about her future. For this year I have focused on an educational, personal, and long term goal. The goals I have selected for myself are get a 3.8 GPA for sophomore year, get closer to my religion, and down the road get a very high pay successful job.
The academic goal I would like to achieve this year is getting a 3.8 GPA for my sophomore year. A few ways I can achieve this is to do all my homework, study all my tests/quizzes‘, and most important to stop being lazy. The challenges I will face trying to accomplish this goal is I could become very gregarious and not want to do any of the work I receive. However, if I strive for accuracy and listen and understand with empathy I no I can reach my goal. This goal is extremely important to me because I want to go to a good university and be successful and by succeeding in school and passing my classes it will allow me to do whatever I want to pursue.
