Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter always hated the summer holidays, for he was away from his magical school; it was called Hogwarts. He hated these months out of school because he had to spend them with his least favorite people: his Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, and his fat, rude Cousin, Dudley. Harry hated the Dursleys so much, they were mean and horrible to Harry. These were usually the most boring months for Harry, because he was away from his two best friends, Ron Weakly, and Hermione Granger. One day, while Harry was in his room, he got two letters by owl post. One was from his friend Ron, and the other from his school, Hogwarts.
Ron told him how his dad had won some money at his work at the Ministry of Magic. Then he said with that money they went to visit one of Ron s brothers in Egypt. The other letter, however, Harry got every year before the start of the new term. It just told him what books, and other supplies he would need before the start of the new term. The next week, when Aunt Marge came to visit. She was a big, well rounded lady, who was just as horrible to Harry as the Dursleys were.
They didn t want Aunt Marge to know where Harry went to school because the Dursley s hated wizards and witches. So, they were going to tell her that he went to St. Brutus s Secure Center for Incurably Criminal Boys. When it was her last day there, she got drunk off of some branded and started to insult Harry.
Soon, they were both arguing nastily at each other. Aunt Marge then, started to swell up with anger. She didn t stop however, she blew up like a balloon and started to rise in the air. Harry left the Dursley s because he was so mad, he wasn t sure were he was going. As he was walking around in the streets he saw a large dog or the outline, Harry couldn t really tell. Anyways, The Knight Bus came to the rescue of Harry and took him to London, more specifically Diag on Alley, a part of town that contained wizarding stores.
The Essay on Harry Potter Ron And Hermione
At the strike of twelve, on Harry Potter's eleventh birthday, he finds out he is a wizard and is accepted to an unusual school: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After being introduced to Hagrid, keeper of the keys at Hogwarts, Harry sets off to a new world and leaves behind Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon Dursley, and his bully cousin Dudley. At Hogwarts, Harry makes friends with Ron and ...
Muggles, non-wizarding people, could not get to that part of town because it was hidden from them. There he was met by Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic, who told Harry he was going to stay in the Leaky Cauldron, for the rest of his summer holiday. There, Harry finished up most of his homework. He was not alone for long, the Weaslys came to stay there too, so Harry wouldn t feel lonely. Harry and Ron went off to go buy there books and supplies that they needed for their next term at Hogwarts. That night they needed to get prepared for the next morning, they were going to King s Cross, to catch the Hogwarts Express.
There, they met up with Hermione, and then off they went to the Hogwarts Express, to their final destination. When they got to Hogwarts, everything went on just as it always did, except for there were Dementors, lifeless creatures that suck the happiness out of you and make you remember very horrible memories, there on the look out for Sirius Black. He was supposed to be a very dark, evil wizard, who escaped from Azkaban. A wizarding prison that is supposed to be impossible to escape from. Later on, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione where in Divination Class, Professor Trelawney predicted Harry s death, because she saw the Grim when they were predicting the future with talons and tea leaves.
The Grim is what Harry saw before he got onto The Knight Bus, it sorta looked like a dog. One day, the fat lady who protected the entrance to the Gryffindor Tower, got attacked. Everybody thought it was Sirius Black, but no one really knew. She was so scared to come back that there had to be a replacement. It was a retired soldier, he always wanted to fight someone as they pasted the portrait hole.
Anyways, the next night, supposedly Ron was attacked. But only as a mistake, because it was Sirius, but he was after the Rat the belonged to Ron. When everyone else had the privilege of going to Hogsmeade Village, Harry couldn t go because he didn t get his waiver signed. So, Fred and George Weasley gave Harry the Marauder s Map. It held the secrets of every passageway and position of everybody at Hogwarts and Harry would use this to go into Hogsmeade. When it came time for the Winter Holiday s, Harry, Ron, and Hermione stayed at the castle as usual.
The Essay on Harry Potter Book School Hogwarts
The book I read was "Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban" the author is J. K. Rowling. This book is the third book, of the four book series."Harry Potter" is based on Witchcraft and Wizardry. "The Prisoner of Azkaban." Harry Potter is thirteen years old, and is in his third year of Hogwarts School. In this book Sirius Black, (lord Voldemort's assistance) escapes from the most secured prison. ...
They got there presents, but Harry got another one that he usually didn t get. It was from Sirius, but they didn t know that. It was a Fire bolt, the most state-of-the-art racing broomstick. It was very expensive and he wondered who would give this to him. Harry was really afraid of the Dementors, mainly because everytime he went near one, he fainted and started to hear his parent s voices as they were being murdered by Voldemort, the most evilest of evil wizards. So, Professor Lockhart taught Harry how to do conjure a Patronus, a spell to ward off Dementors.
Later on, Ron is taken into the Whomping Willow, that leads to the Shreiking shack. So, Harry and Hermione follow. They get there and they see Ron lying on a bed, hurt. Then in comes Sirius. He yells, Expelliarmus.
Then all their wands fly over to Sirius. Harry hated Sirius so much for killing his parents, though Voldemort did the killing, Sirius gave away the hiding place. So Harry attacked Sirius. After Harry and Hermione got the wands back, and they had Sirius pinned on the floor, Harry flor once in his life wanted to kill. This was the man who indirectly killed his parents. It was his fault that Harry had to live with the Dursleys, and that Harry didn t have any parents.
But just when Harry was going to kill Sirius, he had second thoughts. Something inside of him told him not to do it. Just then, Professor Lockhart came in. He restrained Harry, and took his wand.
They started to talk to each other. Soon, Sirius told Harry, Ron, and Hermione, that it was not he who was evil. It was somebody else. He did not betray Harry s parents. It was Peter Pettigrew. He was an anima gus, a person that could turn into an animal.
The reason he attacked Ron that night was to get to his rat. Pettigrew was the rat. Sirius didn t want to kill Harry, he had come to Hogwarts to kill Pettigrew. Then Professor Snape came in. Harry knocked him out.
The Term Paper on Why Parents Kill Their Children
Even though many mothers and fathers are loving and figures that should be looked up too, they can also be deadly and dangerous. My question is: why would a mom and dad would want to kill their child? I am interested in this because our world depends on fathers and mothers and it is interesting how in many ways we can depend on them but in some ways we can’t. Parents all over the world have ...
They went back down to the castle, but when they got out of the Whomping Willow, Lockhart turned into a werewolf. He was dangerous now. Sirius turned into a dog, and fought with the werewolf. Harry ran, along with Hermione.
Pettigrew escaped and Sirius went after him. The dementors, however, were still searching for Sirius. They heard a scream and they ran towards it. There were over a hundred dementors there. So, Harry conjured a Patronus Charm. Sirius was taken into custody by the ministry of magic and was held in Hogwarts untill he was to go back to Azkaban.
But, Harry and Hermione went back in time with Hermione s Time-Turner and they set Sirius free while he was being held prisoner. After they did that, they hurried back to where the Medical Wing where they left to travel back. Once there, they were totally innocent because no one could prove that they had set him free. Then the end of the term was drawing closer. Harry was sad because Sirius had told Harry he could live with him, but now since he is in hiding, he has to back to the nasty Dursleys. I reccomend this book to anybody who likes thrill, excitement, and suspense.
It really keeps you guessing on what is going to happend, and just when you think something is going to happend one way, it happend to other. You can never expect anything. Thats what I like about the Harry Potter series of books. They are very addicting.
