Another myth would be that once you hit a certain age you ” re “over the hill” and shouldn’t attend college anymore.
Reality is that there are many people of various ages, ethnic groups, races and education levels which all attend college. Some people think that there is alot of discrimination that takes place on college campuses. This in all actuality isn’t necessarily true. Certainly some places will have more discrimination going on; it depends on where the campus is located. The number one myth about attending college would have to be that college is only for smart people, or only people who did really well in high school.
