Memo I am glad to report to you about my impressions of participating in teamwork and being involved in educational process as a member of group. It was not my first experience of collaborative learning and collective preparing of different home works and assignments, but it was definitely the most effective and valuable cooperation I have ever had during my school and university years. I was assigned to Group 2: Ammar Al-Ali, Raina Dodge, Joseph Gonzales, Rickie Lammers and Sean Laws. At our first meeting group members introduced themselves and briefly discussed their visions and ideas about working together on different assignments during the semester, and it became obvious to me that every person has realized very well the importance of own contribution into our collective work. Besides, everybody seemed to understand own share of responsibility for the final results of the whole group. Therefore, the first impressions about my colleagues were very positive, and I was very hopeful about our work and future accomplishments. I am sure that collaboration in studying is always advantageous: it increases the efficiency of learning, opens new opportunities in self-realization and helps to improve social relations in the class.
Competition and extra responsibilities always encourage and stimulate every member of a group to achieve maximum results. Actually, I did not expect that we would have to work together on so many tasks and assignments during the entire semester. But within the time I have been taking more and more pleasure in communication and working with my teammates. All the students of my group were open minded, and we all had a lot of common things, both related and not related to our assignments. It is necessary to notice, that one of the most impressive features of our group was incredible flexibility and mutual understanding between all of its members. After receiving a task, every participant of the team felt free to choose the subject, which was the most interesting and motivating. In cases, if a group member could not manage with his or her contribution successfully or on time, the other colleagues always demonstrated tolerance and offered help.

Besides, all my classmates from Group 2 were very well-organized and cohesive, that is why every one of us felt safe and absolutely sure of one another. We have managed to create very positive and stimulating climate in our team, which extremely favored to our good outcomes, advancement and success. One of the most memorable assignments we worked on was our feasibility study. We had to estimate the feasibility of constructing of a Six Flags Amusement Park in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Together we have been considering two opportunities for this project: locating this Park in Avondale or in Payson, and then we split and structured our whole work, so every member of the group started working on own part of this assignment. Afterward we combined all the pieces of information, which every one of us managed to collect, and created an initial draft of our assignment on feasibility.
The work on correcting and improving our further feasibility drafts was exceptionally creative and interesting for me. Taking into account all the comments and suggestions of our instructor, we have been thoroughly considering the best ways to finalize the draft. We had a dozen of meetings and discussions, how to complete our set of documents, and we created a lot of individual and joint ideas, plans and concepts. I think every one of us was very happy to see that our project has been getting better all the time. We have spent a lot of efforts and time working on this assignment, and every member of our team contributed a lot into final result. During this work on feasibility study project the collaboration and mutual support in our group have been steadily increasing and everybody became really irreplaceable and important member of the team.

Besides, everyone was adamantly concentrated on achieving the best result, and no one was dawdling over. Also I would like to underline, that there was a very high level of self-control and discipline in our team. We were very concerned about the feedback and reactions on each others ideas, thats why we actively used the group page in Blackboard. Every student of our team was welcomed to post own comments and recommendations regarding to the work of other members, and frequently we used to ask for assistance and opinions from each other even if the part of assignment has been already completed. In the end of my report I would like to emphasize several major benefits, which personally I gained from working together with my colleagues. First of all, teamwork helped me to develop and improve my social and communicative skills. I had a good opportunity to watch people working on the same tasks and developing the ideas which I would never find out myself, so I have learnt how to listen to my teammates, how to support their thoughts or how to criticize them. I also think that during this work with my team I have learnt how to be much more considerate to others. Besides, working close with opened, friendly and helpful people transformed the process of study into pleasant and inspiring activity, without any tension and stresses.
I always felt support and concern of my teammates, which helped me to increase my own self-esteem and confidence, to feel myself motivated, progressing and succeeding in our work. And the opportunity to share our collaborative success and achievements with my colleagues was very special and unforgettable for me. Working with my teammates from Group 2 was a real pleasure and exceptionally useful experience for me, and I have realized that I was not doing my assignments just for a grade anymore. I enjoyed my role and my responsibilities during this work, and I truly wish to continue our collaboration and companionship, even in case if it will not be directly required by our instructors..
