Every individual is faced with a situation wherein he or she has to make a decision, may it be a life and death situation or just simple everyday things that we need to do in order to have a comfortable daily living. Thus, we may not notice it, but we are often bombarded with small decisions that we have to make. Questions such as where to eat and what to eat at lunch already constitute a decision. However, we do not often notice such choices, because for us, it is just regular everyday act. In contrast, big decisions are not often made by an individual.
Most of the time, these big decision are those that could alter our lives or will create a big impact in our lives, such as our choice of work, our choice of friends, house, etc. Everyday, I am bombarded with decisions that I have to make. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I have a habit of reflecting about the things that I need to do for the whole day. While I take a sip in my cup of coffee, I try to manage the things that I must do in order to divide my time so I could do all my tasks.
As much as possible, I do not want to waste time because I really do believe in the saying that “time is gold. I structure my day depending on the tasks that I need to do such as household chores and appointments, among others. Of course, I also need to manage my time for school, my family, and my friends. This is when those choices and decisions are really needed to be made because most of the time, I forget that I need to do some errands for my parents or friends. In order to properly weigh my decisions with regards to my family and my responsibilities, I need to set and analyze what is more important compared to the others (choices that are available).
The Essay on Choice and Real Life Product

There is one instance when it was my father’s birthday celebration, but I hesitated about attending because I had a major assignment due the next day. With this given situation, I needed to make a choice: to attend the birthday celebration and just finish the assignment later. However, while I was at my father’s birthday celebration, I thought of the time left to complete my assignment and was on the verge of having an anxiety attack. Yet, I realized that I needed to enjoy my time with my family.
The moments that we spend together as a family do not occur as often anymore. Although I knew that I had a deadline the next day, I still felt that I needed to give time for my family. Thus, I chose to be with my family instead of completing my project due the next day. With this experience, I came to understand that valuing our family, most especially our parents, is something that most of us have already forgotten. We often fail to remember how our parents gave us their time and efforts in order to provide us what they do think are the best.
We frequently abandon the thought that there are times when we just need to stop and go back to where we started. As adults, we seldom think of our past because of our very fast-paced lives. We always think of the future and want we want to attain. We choose the best because we want to have a great future ahead of us. However, this must not be our only focus. We must also learn to value people and not neglect the fact that we need others in order to survive. The need for others does not only entail a financial kind of need.
This need involves the necessity of company and socialization. There must be interaction and sharing of feelings with other people. It is creating a connection with a person, just like another passage says “No man is an island. ” We need to have social interaction with others. We must take care of the people around us. In return, when we are the ones in need, there would be people that we can lean on. It may sound very emotional but the reality is that we need someone to be there for us.
The Essay on Children raised with Wealthy Families versus Children raised in Poor Families
Children who are brought up in families that do not have large amounts of money are better prepared to deal with the problems of adult life than children brought up by wealthy parents. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Families have different financial levels and some people think that this variety of the family budgets have an impact on children skills. I believe that ...
Another principle that I strongly believe is that I should be able to identify my priorities, especially when I have to choose between two things. I must be able to weigh the things that I must do first before the other. I find it difficult to choose from the options that I have as I often get confused with this type of situation, and because I have a hard time deciding which is heavier and more important. In the end, I often choose to do both option, but as a result, I have a hard time managing them.
Just like the first example, if I am torn with two birthday celebrations in a day, what I usually do is I attend both parties. I try to maximize and manage my time. The problem with this is that I do not get to spend much time with the people who are at the party. Other friends or relatives might be there but I need to manage my time so I will be able to slice my time perfectly. The good part is that I was able to spend time and join the celebration but I was not able to create a full connection or get a complete update about the lives of the people that matter to me.
One advocacy that I truly believe in is sharing my blessings with others. I often notice the advertisements of underprivileged families and children. I frequently see these types of families in shelters and I feel sympathy for them, most especially for the children. I personally find it disappointing that their families are not able to provide them the lifestyle that they deserve. As children, they ought to have the best foundation for them to have a good future. They need be to enrolled in good schools and be given great opportunities.
However, given their situation, they can barely eat meals that will give them proper nutrition. In relation to my decision making perspectives, I often think of these less fortunate children. I often have a tendency to splurge and not think about any other things in life. I have a belief that I need to “live for the moment” because I believe that I am still young to be too serious about things. Yet, when I think about these children, I tend to slow down and think about the things that I am doing.
My conscience does bother me a lot when I realize that they do not even have the chance to enjoy a cup of coffee in an expensive cafe, or have the opportunity to enjoy the excursions that I usually experience. Realizing that I am more fortunate than other people makes me more down to earth. It is very humbling to know that there are people within such situation and do not have the chance to get or experience things that I normally enjoy. Although these people are not directly connected to me, I still include them in my decisions and actions.
The Essay on Money Time Things People
In today's society, I believe that people should value their money. Money is a necessity and people should not use poor judgement on frivolous things. Therefore, I disagree there is no point in trying to save money. I feel that people who spend their money as they earn it wouldn't be happier and would loose out. However, Money should be spent on things financially and shouldn't be wasted. I see a ...
I do believe that sometimes, we need to pause and look at the environment around us to recognize what we need and want to do. With regards with my work life, I am still enjoying everything about job and my workplace. As much as possible I do try to enjoy the company of my co-workers. Although we might not be spending much time outside of our workplace, we still try to bond every once and a while. I try to make a connection with everyone in the office. I also aim to establish rapport with everyone because I do believe that good relationships will create a good working environment.
Although building a relationship with other people is a difficult thing to do, I firmly believe that efforts must be done to achieve camaraderie. If there is camaraderie within the workplace, there will surely be positive effects on the outcomes of the activities and duties of the office. In terms of my work attitude as an individual, I do think that I need to be able to give an excellent performance of my job. As I dislike producing a mediocre output, I need to be proficient in order to excel.
If I could give my best, not only would I stand-out in the office, but I would also be able to improve the skills that I already have. I believe that from continuously giving my best, I would acquire more skills, while the skills that I already possess would be further enhanced. In addition, I do believe that any type of work that I encounter offers me a new knowledge—may it be good or bad, I do believe that “every experience is a learning experience. ” In the past, I used to be stressed with my work.
However, I was able to cope up through time. I was able to handle the pressure with the right mindset. I set myself to think that this work is a challenge that I need to overcome in order to prove that I can do other work. Eventually, I was able to process things more efficiently and improve myself. I discovered that I can surpass my own expectations for myself. Through out this paper, I realized that I truly value my family. In every situation and decisions, I consider them first before anything else.
The Research paper on Research Study With Regard to Resolving the Work Setting or Work Experience Challenges
A number of hardships or any forms of arduousness are just inevitable for every individual; thus, it is necessary for him or her to undergo certain “systematic procedures in gathering quantitative and qualitative data to address improvements in their educational setting, their teaching, and the learning of their students,” according to Creswell (2006). One of the potential problems that the number ...
I believe that family is the only shelter we have when we are in the moment of need and desperation. They are the persons that could be our protection when we get hurt. Our family really knows us and they have the ability to give us unconditional comfort because they have known us for a long time. They already know our strong and weak points that our friends cannot recognize. Although at first, I did not realize that other people influence me with regards to my decisions, now I have confirmed that even those that are not directly linked to me also affects my decisions.
I knew that seeing other people who are less fortunate than I am makes me think and realize that I should learn how to share my blessings and appreciate that kind of life I am living. I must learn how to look at the positive things that are happening around me. Instead of just focusing on the bad things that had happened, I must learn how to appreciate the challenges that is brought to me. Any challenges that are brought to me should be only a challenge that I need to face.
