I have always thought that life would be a lot more complicated than it seems. When I was younger, I had a lot of questions about my surroundings; most of which I found very challenging. I though to myself how different I am – and how much of myself I could give to help other people. Looking back, I see my personal and academic experiences as stages of growth that have helped me to understand my own potential and the road that I wish to take in life. While vast opportunities are before me, I feel that my true calling lies in the fascinating and challenging world of Immunology and Neurobiology.
I wish to change my educational tract from being a Finance student into a scholar of this field of education. I first realized my inclination to this field when I encountered personal experience of being a cancer survivor. I was able to realize how immunology is vital in the treatment and prevention of diseases. In addition to this I use to read articles and watch news linked to issues about this field because I believe I can also make a difference and reach to a point where I can discover procurement for cancer.
After recovering from cancer, I realized so many things and I became more determined to change my career and be more attached to the medicine world. I studied biomedical science and now aiming a PhD in Immunology and Neurobiology to widen my knowledge even more. It was really enjoyable upon learning that I survived such depressing phase.
