Deputy
Jamie turned up today; she had a brief meeting with Angela. Angela said Jamie seemed very positive and keen to make a go of school this term. I am very pleased Jamie seems to have the right mindset towards her schooling, after all she’s been through.
Cathy Lee saw me about some funding issues regarding the Breakfast Club. She certainly seems happy with her life these days. When I mentioned this, she told me that she and Stewart were very happy and had decided to get married at Christmas time. She felt much more at ease since her ex husband had been jailed.
Nick Kelland is a real concern of mine, since his last suicide attempt, trying to saw through the gas
pipe in the Science Lab, he has tried to steal an orbital sander and an electrical drill from the tech
department, thank goodness he didn’t get far down the corridor when he met Proden who
promptly directed him straight to my office, with the stolen goods. I have not let him out of my sight since.
Warren Horrowitz didn’t like the way someone looked at
him in the playground, so he ran over and hit him and started a fight. Warren is running out of chances, I don’t know if another suspension is the right option for him, will meet with Angela tomorrow to discuss what action to take.
Mel Richter is still into body piercing, and was reported for trying to pierce her eyebrow this time, using her bent paper clip and compact mirror setup – have confiscated these items. It appears Angela and I are going to have a heavy workload this term already.
The Essay on A New Kind of Dreaming by Jamie Riley
Jamie Riley changing for the better throughout the novel ‘A New Kind of Dreaming’ is thanks to many of the events throughout his stay in Port Barren. The courts sending Jamie to Port Barren on Isolated Care, I find, is the best thing they have done for him. Even though he was targeted, threatened and set-up, he managed to endure it, and come out the other side a better person. He can ...
A new term, a new beginning. So far Proden hadn’t made Jamie real angry and she hadn’t needed to leave his classroom to cool down. Jamie knew that now she had decided to return to school, she had to make it work. Every day she remained at school was a victory for her. She had made this decision for her sake and Dominic’s – if their relationship lasted – and she didn’t want to let Mr. Eliot down. Jamie knew he cared and he hadn’t rescued her from Rob just to see her not make a go of her life.
Jamie loved having Dominic at school, they gave each other extra support. Since Samantha’s Mum had finally cooled down after the party incident, she had actually invited Jamie to stay at her house. Jaimie was receiving some financial assistance from the Government and had also kept her night job at the local take away, so she was able to contribute some money to Sam’s mum.
Jaime’s relationship with Dominic was stronger than ever, as they didn’t have the added pressure
of living together. Besides, now that Dominic had bought her, a mobile phone, he was never very far away.
Ms Davis said Jamie had gone to see her about Greg Proden, apparently he had set the first assignment for Social Science. She had explained that she was anxious, and that she was feeling the pressure, she didn’t want to let herself down. She went on to say that she had got very upset, with Proden because it was like he wanted her to fail. Jamie had apparently asked for further clarification of the task, and Proden had replied, “Well if it isn’t Miss Jamie Joel, turned over a new leaf have we, you didn’t hand in one assignment last term…don’t waste my time if you are not going to put in the effort.” Jamie had retorted, “you just won’t give me a fair go will you…I really want to do well…but you just don’t care…that’s your problem you just don’t care…” and she had stormed out of the classroom.
As per Mr Eliot’s deal, Jamie had to report to a teacher, luckily she found Ms Davis’s office door open. Miss Davis had given Jamie some time to cool down and then had explained to her that she was proud that she had walked out of the class to cool down. She asked Jamie to show her the assignment and explained the task to her.
The Essay on James Time Didn Radiation
The supermarket was going to be a doomsday dungeon this Sunday afternoon for James Faruggulo, but he knew he had to go. He had given the housekeeper a week off to lie around in the warm tropical waters off of Jamaica. She did the laundry, cooking, cleaning and of course, she always fetched the groceries. Even the perfect layer of atmosphere which lay upon the earth that day could not keep his mind ...
Ms Davis made a deal with Jamie, she was willing to proof read and check that Jamie was on track
with her assignments at lunchtime, if she was putting in the effort and working well on her assignments at home.. Jamie thanked Ms Davis, and said she didn’t want to take up too much of her time, but said it would be great if she could check her first drafts.
Ms Davis also helped Jamie make a timetable to help her schedule her homework each night and some work on her assignments, so she
could organize her time well and get her assignments completed on time.
At her next Social Science class with Proden Jamie, apologized for
walking out of his lesson.
She said, “I have been working so hard on my assignment, I was up til midnight last night,
and the night before, what do you think? Jamie threw some pages of typing on his desk.
The look on Proden’s face lightened and for a brief
moment Jamie thought she saw a small smile as his lips curled upwards on his face.
Proden responded, “Well, well, well Miss Rule, it appears you may well be turning over a new leaf….”
