Struggle to Success Introduction I will first introduce myself to the reader of my essay and also to myself in this self-analytical essay that I am writing about myself. I would like to begin by immediately stating the purpose of my life, which is polish to myself into a unique sparking diamond that will be recognized by its quality. I mention unique here because other diamonds sparkle because they are polished by the hands of expert craftsman, but I have taken this task upon myself because of the self-belief and faith I have that through hard work and struggle, all obstacles of life can be overcome and the impossible can be done. Keeping in mind my capabilities and my strong points, my immediate target is to get admitted in the best university, which in my mind is the Golden Gate University and graduate with distinction marks. Background I shall begin here by explaining why my GPA was below 3.0 in my first unsuccessful attempt in college. Perhaps by elaborating my background and my life, I shall be able to justifiably reason out my short-coming in this regard.
I am a young lady of (AGE) years, separated from the father of my two daughters. Following my graduation from high school in 1996, my second daughter was born and immediately thereafter, I had begun my college studies in the spring of 1997. Unfortunately my life took a turn for the worse at that time when I had to separate and sever my relationship with my daughters father. This had placed me under a lot of emotional stress besides having added up the full responsibility of having to support my children. In the struggle for survival, I therefore had to unfortunately drop out of school and begin my career as an administrative department employee with Wells Fargo Securities and within two months I was promoted to a more challenging position because of my ability to handle responsible work with perfection. My continual services with Wells Fargo Securities gave me the opportunity to succeed in my career and support my family with comfort and it also gave me the chance to pursue my educational goals once again. I can with pride state that within 3-1/2 years, I managed to get my BA in Economics Degree. However in 2006, the two incidents that curtailed my further studies at the San Diego State University were the diagnosis of my elder daughter with the joint disease Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and of my 22 years old brother being detained on murder charges.
The Essay on Lost Dreams State University
Michelle ani Baker EN 101 S-1 Mrs. Slater March 21, 2005 Lost Dreams Remember as a little child, and all those dreams you had? You did anything to make those dreams come true, only to find out in two minutes everything could change. The dreams were gone, the struggle it took to get there seemed futile, and the life that was once organized was useless. Less than a year ago, I found out what exactly ...
These two major incidents had a profound psychological and emotional effect on me and proved to be the major reason for my poor grades in 2006. Had my circumstances been normal I am sure I would have done much better and perhaps one error of judgment on my part had also been the taking on of more courses, which in the unfortunate chain of events all compounded together to disallow me to prepare myself appropriately and qualify with the required results in my academic studies. I have overcome these two critical incidences of my life and am now fully prepared to enroll in the prestigious Golden Gates University where in my first year of study I intend to take on two courses in each semester and once I am settled down and comfortable with my studies, I am hopeful of taking on the full range of courses from my second year onwards. Conclusion My personal statement with regard to my graduation is the following: I had seriously contemplated and come to the decision that I should pursue a graduation degree course whereby I could earn my Bachelors diploma and in this regard, my internship at Piper Jeffrey was the decisive factor to influence me to further my academic qualifications. My interactions with the Branch Manager were enriching, educative and professional and I realized that I could be an excellent finance analyst and with experience earn a management position in this particular field. I therefore realize that I should first get my academic degree through a prestigious university like the Golden Gates, where I would also broaden my understanding of finance and hone my analytical skill to attain success in my life.

I further state that my previous failure was due to my young age, immaturity and because I did not have the chance to prepare myself as well as I should have due to my circumstances. However, failures are sometimes good teachers and a good student like me does not fail twice because through struggle I intend to make my life better..
The Essay on Golden Gate Bridge History
The First proposal for the Golden Gate Bridge came from James Wilkins, who at the time was an engineering student. The cost of James Wilkins Bridge was unrealistic at the time which was 100million dollars, but none the less it set the bar for other bridge engineers to try to work out a cheaper solution.
