I smell my warm breakfast calling my name. I get out of bed and relized it’s just my mom. She sounds rushed so I hurry on down.
Oh no, I knew this was going to happen. The bad part is I didn’t even get to eat my breakfast.
Don’t you ever wonder sometimes whatever you do and how ever you do it there is always something that still needs to be done.
SLAM!! My mom rapidly runs out the door. I’m counting 1,2,3,4,5,6.
Good, all the puppies are here. It seems I’m doing that a lot during my puppy sitting hours. If not that, I’m constantly feeding them. Or chasing them around the house. They were probably tired out considering they crash about 7 minutes later.
I had to watch them all cuddled up next to their mom. I had to do something to make time fly by because who knows how long they will be out.
I should definatly catch up on my homework for literacy.
Alright my books…pencil…paper. I was ready to start. I plopped on to my couch, pressing my pencil hard onto my paper hoping that the lead wouldn’t go through. Thinking. It was easy because it was so quiet, too quiet.
I grasp my sweaty hand onto my loose sleeve as I creeped to the other side of the living room.
I count 1,2,3,4,5,6. Good there all here. I rush back as if they were going to wake up any second. And they did, just when I sat down.
A few days ago I couldn’t wait until my dog had it’s puppies. Now I wish they were all gone. No matter how cute and small they are.

1:21 pm my mother won’t be home from work for a while. And here I am, alone with 6 newborn puppies. It was time to do something I should have done a long time ago.
As I’m dialing Taylor’s number, im holding a bag of chips and trying to hide my new flipflops from one of the puppies. Thank goodness it didn’t take long before Taylor came. She loves dogs just like me. That’s why were best friends.
I wipe the cumbs off my face and answer the door. She says hi but goes straight for the dogs.
“They are so cute. I bet their hungry” she says it like she knows what shes talking about.
I snicker just loud enough so she can’t hear.
“Yeah, their adorible” I say.
Niether of us thought they were cute after about 10 minutes. They were more hyper than ever.
But everything turned out to be ok. Except for the trashed house. When my mom came home, she asked how was my day, like any typical mom would.
“Good” I say hoping that would end the conversation.
I slowly sat down on my couch for the hundreth time today. But it was finally was over, I thought to my self, petting my cat. Blessed he was a boy.
