We chose this particular topic on love: ”How love is expressed in our modern art and society”, because most of the movies, songs, poems, pictures, peintures, books and in general- art, are dealing with love and the expressions of love in our life and behavior. we find that this topic is interesting because most of the artists use love as an instrument for getting closer to the feeling of their crowd. The artists know that this tool will give them international recognition so they use it very often. the movies we see and the music we listen is about love and we are being affected by this art and this love. For example, the movie “GRIS” is dealing with the love between teenagers and the effect of love on their behavior. Even poems discuss on love, for example, the song “ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE” that shows how love can solve all our problems. We would like to discover what is the meaning of love in different art genres and in which way does the love inspire the artists.
Love is an emotion of a strong affection and personal attachment. Love is also said to be a virtue representing all of human kindness,compassion, and affection —”the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another”. Love may describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one’s self or animals.

“Love” may refer specifically to the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love, Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.
Love may be understood as part of the survival instinct, a function to keep human beings together against menaces and to facilitate the continuation of the species.
the aspect of love that we have focused on is the “concrete love” because the love that we usually see daily is real and concrete that we can recognized by the symptoms of love, for example: kisses, hugs, cuddles, relationships and marriage. our main research questions are: “how love in modern art affects our society?” ,” how love is expressed in modern peintures, movies and poems?” ,”what makes people show their love on public?”.
